best thing ever. only thing that’s ever worked for me. it doesn’t block out sounds like headphones but it makes the air pressure not cause your ears to pop. it’s small and easy to pack in your bag and looks cute too. wish there was a left and right side division though because i hate mixing which one i used for which and they get jumbled up. it’s washable but i’ll be honest that i bought a new one after because it felt odd after washing and i wore like 8 flights before it needed a wash anyway so already had gotten my moneys worth. i recommend wearing them the whole flight and wearing headphones over them to watch whatever you’d like as it works and that way you don’t have to take them out at all.

I suffer from partial deafness, tinnitus and middle ear without flying, but taking off and landing in the past would cause me days of ear pain, popping and increased deafness. On one occasion my ears weren't right for weeks. I booked a flight for in a few weeks time, then right after booking the flight I got sinusitis. So I went looking to see if there was anything I could wear in or over the ears to reduce pressure. I found these, and when they arrived seeing how small and soft they are it made me sceptical. So I took two flights, both times the buds went in prior to take off then I put them back in again about 20mins before landing. (Just to note as I had sinusitis, I also took a nasal steroid spray before each flight as well as an antihistamine then wore the ear buds on the flight) I experienced slight pressure change in ears and popping, during landing and taking off. I didn't experience any pain at all. I got off the plane both times feeling like normal. No pain, no clogged feeling nothing! I was made up! These are sooooo good, I truly believe they saved my sinuses aswell. I will not fly without these in future and I have recommended them to family and friends.

Helped my ears on the plane, though not a total fix: I recently used the Alpine FlyFit Ear Plugs on a flight and found them surprisingly helpful. I usually deal with pretty bad ear pain and blocked ears during takeoff and landing, but with these, the pressure was a lot more manageable. I still felt a bit of popping, but nothing like the pain I’m used to. It really made a difference. Comfortable for Long Use They’re soft, lightweight, and fit nicely in the ear. I wore them for the whole flight— more than 10 hours—and never felt any irritation or discomfort. I even forgot I had them in at times. Easy to carry The ear plugs come with a compact plastic case, which makes them easy to keep clean and toss in your carry-on. Not a perfect fix To be honest, they’re not 100% effective. I still experienced some ear popping, mostly during landing. It’s hard to say how much of the improvement was from the ear plugs or if the flight conditions just happened to be better that day—but I’m pretty confident the plugs helped. Overall, I’m really glad I gave the Alpine FlyFit Ear Plugs a try. They didn’t completely solve my ear pressure issues, but they made flying a lot more comfortable. If you often deal with ear pain on planes, these are worth trying. Just keep in mind—they help a lot, but they’re not magic.

I have previously had bad ear pain on flights and saw these and thought I'd try them. I have used other alpine earplugs that I found difficult to insert but these came with a tool to use to insert. Even though I have reduced dexterity in both hands I was able to insert them no problem. A bit fiddly to get on to the tool. It doesn't block sound completely so I was still able to chat with fellow travellers. However it did make me talk quieter so others struggled to hear me! I had no ear pain the whole flight. Amazing! Very effective. Definitely recommend. The flight home I didn't quite get one to fit correctly so my ear did pop a bit but no real pain so still good. I'd recommend practicing before the flight to ensure a good fit. Easy to remove.

I have been flying for years and never had any issues at all. Last year however on my way back from Rhodes and sitting right at the back of an A320 my ears started literally screaming about 40 minutes from landing. It got worse and worse and louder and louder and then started to really hurt, like really hurt. Nothing I did made it stop and by the time we finally landed I had gone completely deaf in one ear, almost deaf in the other and it felt like someone had rammed a cotton bud into both ears and hurt like hell. It took 2 days for my hearing to gradually return and I was really concerned obviously. So this time I decided to see if there was anything I could do to prevent this happening again. I bought these ear plugs, put them in before take off and took them out once we were at 39000 feet. I put them back in the minute we started to lose altitude about an hour before landing - like as soon as we were coming down to 35000 feet I knew we were starting our descent and put them in. No problems at all. It could be that it had nothing to do with these ear plugs but I'll certainly be using them every time I fly from now on. The one thing I will say is that I had a cold when I had my problem and my nose was quite bunged up so this time I took the precaution of also taking a sudofed capsule an hour prior to take off, just to help. Apart from anything else they really take the bulk of the jet noise out and turn it into white noise that is quite soothing. You can still hear the cabin crew and announcements with them in. Highly recommended for anyone flying, why take the chance?

These earplugs were absolutely amazing, they really helped take the ear pressure away and were comfortable throughout the entire flight. I would highly recommend them. Best thing ever!!

I put these in before take off for a 7 1/2 hour flight to Dubai. I definitely felt that it was much better than previous flights there, though I kept holding them in firmly all during take off. However it wasn't without discomfort and my left ear was constantly popping very badly - it just didn't hurt. I could live with that. However it wasn't so good on the way back. I put them in just as we began descent, maybe I should have put them in earlier. It was ok to start with, but as we started to get down to around 20,000 feet I started to feel the pressure building in my left ear, I also started to get a splitting headache, more popping and then the thing I always dread, the pain down the neck in the eustacian tube. At that point I wondered if I would ever fly again, but maybe it's like having kids and you forget in time...Anyhow I will say that as bad as it was, it still wasn't as bad as it has been in the past and I wouldn't attempt to fly without them if I do fly again!

Amazing!! If you suffer from really painful ears whilst flying these guys will do the trick. This is the best thing I have bought in a while!

Die Ohrstöpsel sind super einfach einzusetzen und angenehm weich, sie unterdrücken Geräusche und helfen super beim Druckausgleich beim Fliegen. Habe ohne wirklich große Schwierigkeiten damit, somit war der Flug mit diesen super angenehm. Hatte auch schon andere Modelle ausprobiert, die aber nicht so gut geholfen hatte, somit kann ich diese wirklich empfehlen:)

Uzun uçak yolculuklarında gerekli, kulak içi tıkaç. Tavsiye üzerine sipariş ettim ve yolculuğumda kullandım. Tıkaçları koyabilmek için küçük bir kutucuk da ambalajında mevcut. Tıkaçlarınızı kaybetmemeniz ve hijyen açısından kutusunun olması güzel bir özellik. Fiyatı diğer kulak tıkaçlarına göre biraz fazla gibi gelse de yıkayıp tekrar tekrar kullanabiliyor olduğunuz için kendini amorti ediyor.

I’ve written a similar “glowy” review for Earplanes, but Alpine are even better for me! The rest of this is super long, detailing my contrasting experience with each. Lots of you won’t care, be warned, and don’t be mad at me if you choose to read it all 😂 Bottom line: both work. Alpines are better. Context: I’m pretty well-traveled within the US, but only moderately so via air travel since I drive within 12 hours or so. I probably fly somewhere every 1-2 years. About a decade ago, when I began flying more frequently, I realized I was having excruciating ear pain. My left ear is always worse. Is my pain tolerance the highest out there? Unlikely. Nonetheless, there were a few flights where the pain was so bad, I thought my eardrum burst. Wiped my ear to check for blood. Crying while sitting next to a poor stranger. The pain would eventually reduce but hearing loss would last for over a week. I LOVE traveling, so I scoured the internet and discovered Earplanes first. I used them for a few years, including a trip from Boston to San Francisco to Hawaii and back - a vacation literal years in the making. They reduced my pain and hearing loss by probably 85%. I was SO happy, I remember crying from joy because the getaway we needed wouldn’t be marred by so much discomfort. Unfortunately Earplanes were single use only and very uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Their instructions recommended leaving them in for entire flights, but I couldn’t tolerate them for 6 hours at a time. This meant breaking that seal and rendered them less effective when I put them back in a solid hour before landing. They were painful to me, but much better than nothing!!! On a recent Boston to Phoenix trip, I was restocking my Earplanes supply and tried out this brand as well. They’re it for me. Game changer. Super comfortable. So soft. Easy to take out and put back in, and made to do so. (That’s my husbands favorite part so he doesn’t look as controlling when ordering for me from flight attendants because I can’t hear ANYTHING with Earplanes. He uses to get suspicious looks 😂). These did a more effective job of balancing pressure for pain and hearing loss reduction for me. And they’re reusable!!! Huge money saver and a perk for someone kind of crunchy, like myself. They’re going to live in my airplane kit, and I may legitimately buy a backup. All of this said, I did purchase the child size Earplanes to try (perhaps the others are too large and less effective for me). I didn’t even try them, and not sure I will because the price to pay for a product not working well for me is pretty high. In contrast, Alpines completely eliminated my ear pain, and I only experienced hearing loss for maybe 30 minutes before they popped. No meds. Can you tell they’re there? Yeah. You’re wearing earplugs. But they didn’t hurt me. I would HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend these to anyone who had bad ear pain while flying. Whether for work when you need to be in control of your body, or for play when you’re just trying to have a relaxing getaway!! Life’s too short and these are too affordable to just “deal” with that level of debilitating discomfort.
