I purchased this album for my husband, he has loved listening to all the tracks and they covers some great songs.Defiantly worth purchasing if your a fan!

For anyone who hasn't already guessed by looking at the song titles, the gimme gimmes are a cover band. It is very difficult to compare them to any other band but if you are a fan of punk you should consider this CD very seriously.This is the gimme gimmes fourth full length album and is quite possibly the best so far, mainly because of a better choice of songs to cover. As with all of their albums it is quite short, lasting just over 32 minutes but it is well worth the money.This is the first gimme gimmes album where I have not been able to choose a lone favourite, showing the brilliant array of songs on offer, however the best few songs are probably "end of the road" , "crazy" and R.Kelly's "I believe I can fly" although this is just my opinion.I cannot emphasise just how good this album is and it has further established my love of punk music and the gimme gimmes.If you own and like any of the gimme gimmes albums then you must buy this album you will not be dissapointed.

Being a big fan of the other Gimmes albums i was really looking forward to this new album. And i have to say it is one of the best cover albums in the world. With great versions of Hello, and i beleive i can fly it makes for great listerning!!Like the albums it focus' on one type of music, like show tunses in the album before. THis time round it is RnB and they do a great job of showing that white boys can get down! THe music and vocals are top class and show that the Gimme Gimmes are really talented chaps!With a few surprise songs thrown in it is a rollercoaster of punk RnB. Some of the best song are Hello (lional Richie) and Crazy (seal). go out and get it you'll love it!

Fare cover di per se non è difficile, se sai suonare.Del resto è così che si comincia appena messa su una band.Il difficile è scegliere una manciata di brani, suonarli nel proprio stile (punk), incastrarli in modo tale da creare una sequenza omogenea.Se poi i brani scelti sono classici degli anni 80, di artisti come Stevie Wonder e Sinead O'Connor, e per assonanza riesci a agganciarli a riff dei Sex Pistols o dei Black Flag, allora ogni ascolto è una piacevole sorpresa.La stessa che provi quando senti per la prima volta qualcosa che ti piace.Perché si può essere originali anche suonando solo cover.

Was soll man zu den Gimmes schreiben. Wer auf Punkcovers steht, kommt an ihnen nicht vorbei, da ist eigentlich jedes Album Pflicht. Die Tracks sind treibend und verbreiten eindfach nur Gute Laune! Ist fast ein kleiner Geheimtipp. Kaufen!

Habe die Band durch Zufall auf Youtube gefunden und da habe mich die lieder so überzeugt das ich direkt diese + die CD "Blow in the Wind" bestellt habe. Seit ich diese CD's besitze laufen sie in Dauerschleife! Die nächsten 4 CD's sind schon bestellt.

アルバムとしての完成度も高いし、１曲１曲もいい！原曲はしっとりとしたバラードなのにこの人達がカヴァーするともうウリャウリャ！！パンクファンのみならず万人におすすめです。

gimme gimmesの中で一番カッコイイ。メロコアが好きなら買うべし。

I love Me first & the Gimme Gimmes, but this album hardly does it for me. Not sure if the fact I'm not at all into R&B music, but I find myself skipping through a lot of the songs.The music sound kind of sloppy and a little slow compared to Blowing in the wind. Their are some good songs, so it's not a total lost. Just not my favorite.Worth buying but I would get Love their country, or blowing in the wind first.

I buy a bunch of vinyl and this was last in my expectations. Surprisingly, this was the best sounding of them all.If you like Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies, buy this on vinyl. It sounds amazing and you're going to enjoy it. Now is in my favorite list.

I'm partial to the band - and it's easy to like an album full of songs you already liked re-done with a punk rock twist. When I was younger, I'd get my parents to let us listen to 'punk rock' in the car via Me First & the GImme Gimmes.

It's my favorite. What's to really say?

These guys have never let me down.
