In my pizzeria I used to use leather welding gloves for manipulations inside the oven. Then I saw these ones and they absolutely blew my mind. First of all, they can be washed properly. Hygiene! Then - because the fingers are small and tight, the control of whatever you're handling is amazing. And then the temperature resistance - my pizza oven is at 400C and I handle everything inside without any problems. Very, very good product.

I have issues with some of the nerves in my left hand, and this had rendered me unable to do lots of tasks in the kitchen, particularly when it came to handling cold food. As an ex chef, this was incredibly defeating, suddenly being unable to cook some of my favourite dishes as I was unable to do something as simple as cutting up chicken or veg due to the coldness of the food shooting up my hand and arm, leading to great pain and discomfort. So began my quest to find some cold resistant, washable, durable and above all, food safe gloves. I had started to become close to giving up, when I found these. Having already tried other gloves that made promises of what I needed and failed, I had little hope and ordered these anyway to give them a go. They arrived and unpacking them from the box, I knew I already had made a good choice, and I was excited to give them a go straight away. The gloves look and feel extremely well made, are food safe and washable. They do have a slightly sticky feeling to them, but I understand that this is normal of the silicone, and upon inspection, it was not leaving any marks or residue so, I was good to go. I successfully diced 1kg of chicken breast for the first time in years, and it's all thanks to these gloves. The coldness of the food did not phase me at all whilst wearing these. It was a bit odd getting used to the thickness and the grip of the gloves, but I'm sure this will come in time. Then it was as simple as giving them a quick wash for the next meal. Honestly, I cannot recommend these enough if you are struggling with handling temperatures in your hands in the kitchen. LANON has literally changed my life for the better with this product, and I cannot show my appreciation more. Thank you very much!

These have been a life saviour. Being a sourdough home baker and having to grab very hot and heavy cast iron dutch ovens that could easily cause serious injuries require a good pair of gloves that provide a good grip and heat protection. These gloves thick all the boxes, they feel great, are easy to put on/take off and give you a high heat protection. The silicone coating provides an amazing amount of grip even when using them to wash up glass cups. Love that they are very easy to wipe clean so we can keep them as new for a long time and that shows that these gloves were made with excellent materials and with durability in mind. (picture after 7 months of daily/weekly use).

These gloves give you much better handling of hot items than conventional oven gloves, the only problem they have is that they are very 'sticky' when you hold anything - it's difficult to adjust your grip, or even to hold a knife or fork with them, until you get used to the 'stickiness'. But they do resist heat really well, fit perfectly, and are waterproof, so you don't have to worry about handling a tray with hot fat in it (which is what ruined my previous oven gloves - fat got onto the fingertips and then they conducted heat and were unusable, and impossible to clean.) So apart from getting used to the 'stickiness', they are excellent.

These gloves fit well, they’re heatproof but you can’t hold on to the cast iron for a long time, not that you need to. Quality is great, they are reasonably priced, vey thick. Comfortable to wear and the grip is excellent. I use them all the time.

Great product, but should have ordered a larger size

After a frightening incident where my old fabric oven gloves caught fire, I was determined to find a truly reliable replacement. These gloves have been a revelation. They provide ample heat protection (certainly up to 220°C which is as hot as I've had my oven) whilst allowing surprising finger flexibility. The strong anti-slip coating securely grips roasting dishes and the extended cuff safeguards my forearms. Comfortable, with a soft lining and easy to clean, I couldn't recommend them more highly.

Disappointing. The inner mesh keeps twisting, making them difficult to put on, and they retain the heat terribly after you have picked up something hot. Have burned my hands frequently.

Eccezionali! Li uso quando cucino al barbecue e sono estremamente soddisfatto. Isolano molto bene dal calore e sono resistenti ai graffi. Li trovo molto pratici anche per l'utilizzo con le teglie in forno rispetto alle classiche presine. Suggerisco di prendere una taglia in più perché durante l'uso col sudore può diventare complicato sfilarli e poi rimetterli. In ogni caso consigliatissimi.

It’s not very thick but great for holding hot bread, removing bakes from the oven etc.

Ich habe mitterlweile schon viele Ofenhandschuhe probiert: Welche aus Stoff, Stoff mit Silikon, und jetzt auch Silikon mit Stoff gefüttert. Ich benutze einen Dampfbackofen. Gerade bei heißem Dampf ist Stoff nicht so optimal. Hier passiert nichts. Die Handschuhe sind komplett Wasserdicht und die Ärmel sind relativ lange. Man kann auch problemlos mal Kartoffel oder Knödel aus einem Topf mit kochendem Wasser fischen. Danach kann man sich einfach die Hände mit Spüli waschen. Die einzigen Nachteile bis jetzt sind, dass die Handschuhe gerne mal etwas zusammen kleben und das sie im Vergleich zu Stoffhandschuhen relativ schnell warm werden. Ein heißes Backblech kann man mit anderen Handschuhen definitiv länger halten, wenn man sich aber davor den Platz frei räumt, dann ist das kein wirkliches Problem.

These are fantastic. Super cold, super hot, they've got your sweet hands safe! I'm thrilled with these after dealing with heavy cotton oven gloves that burn if you hold something too long. What a relief! They're lined so they don't stick to you. They're sized well to fit and not flop all around the hand. I don't think I have particularly big hands and M8 fit me great. I use these to break down hot potatoes that I'm ricing to make gnocchi, can grab a finished lobster out of the steam pot, grab pans out of the oven.... I wouldn't use these however on grill items like cast iron that will get to screaming temps. I think these tap out at 430F.
