This is a very nice soccer ball for little kids. It is comparable quality to those I have seen priced twice as much. It's very convenient that it comes with an inflation pump, 2 needles, and it's simple to inflate. We ordered the purple because it's for a boy and a girl and the white was out of stock when I ordered. This ball is for the kids to perfect at home all the new skills they learn at practice. We liked this one in particular because of the "crafting" aspect. However, we don't allow the 3 and 4 year old children to use any sort of ink pens or permanent markers. We did encourage them release their artistic skills on the ball with their water based markers, but sadly they just don't work. Their drawings only smeared all over their hands and ghosted across the ball. In addition, since our ball is a dark shade of purple it prevented most colors from standing out very much. At the end of the day, I wasn't really all that disappointed that they weren't able to draw on the ball because I was so impressed with the quality of the ball! I really was expecting something a lot less than what I received for the price. An older child would certainly be appreciative of every aspect this product has to offer. At the end of the season, we are planning to use a silver metallic permanent marker and outline each of their hands on the ball and write their names inside each respective hand and the current year. Who knows how long the ball will last, but I'm thinking it's going to last quite a long time.

This is a nice, smaller-sized soccer ball. The shade of purple is much deeper than what was depicted in the picture, but that is absolutely fine. I've included a video and some pictures - due to the lighting, it looks more blue, but trust me...it's dark purple. The accompanying pump worked fine and came with two needles. It was easy to pump full. It has a weird smell to it (as is common with new products like this). I'm confident this will dissapate rapidly and I'm not worried about it since it will be used outside. Even if it were used indoors (like in a gym), the smell is going to go away quickly. Since it comes deflated, it was packaged pretty small. It is the perfect size to include (with the pump) in shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child if you're looking for a ball for that purpose.

One of the pumps broke right away. The balls came on time, but they had discoloration, the material was tearing and very wrinkled which didn’t come out when we blew them up. We were decorating them so we were able to cover it up for the most part, but if you wanted just a while soccer ball I would not recommend.

I ordered 3 balls for my kids to get signed at an MLS event. One ball wouldn’t hold any air and the other two continue to deflate. Do not buy!

When soccer balls come deflated the are somewhat warped when blown up making them egg shaped. Coaches tell kids to not sit on their soccer balls in practice or ever bc it warps them and doesn't function correctly. I bought this ball for the kids to use inside the house (white so it wouldn't scuff up my walls) just so they could be touching the ball on a regular basis. I guess this ball is fine for that but not completely spherical which isn't great for true soccer players. Update: had ball 2 months and seam is busted.
