SCANPANCTX 20 cm Frying Pan

I purchased this pan because I needed one that could go in the oven as well as on the hob. It is expensive but worth the money. It holds the heat, fries anything beautifully with minimum oil and is easy to clean. And goes in the oven as well.

At last the perfect frying pan that will cook 8 rashers of Bacon in one go, completely Non-stick and using only a smear of oil which I do whether it needs it or not, I have a smaller frying pan of this brand which I’ve been using on a regular basis for several years and the food still doesn’t stick, worth every penny, the pan arrived well packaged and a day earlier than expected, I definitely recommend this pan.

Great pan - beautifully even cooking. The outside arrives a beautiful shiny stainless steel but once heated, it discolours and stays that way. It doesn't bother me as its the performance that matters but it may bother the house proud cook.

As others have noted, despite the glowing reviews , ours lost its non-stick properties within 15 months. Was great for a year, now a potential expensive throw away -- very dissappointed

Have been a fan of Scanlan for few decades now, quality product and it is beautiful. This one is no different. I am a little concerned about how to best clean the surface, as after only a few uses there is residue on the bottom and sides, if anyone has any suggestions please drop me a line.

Well made and very good anti stick properties, you just cannot burn stuff onto it and I have tried as I tend to forget and only remember when I smell burning, just wipes clean with soap and water.

Pan is nice and heavy and works well on the induction hob. Seems to have very even heating. Time will tell on the longevity of the finish, which I why I paid a lot of money for a frying pan. So far after a couple of months it was excellent although only ever cleaned with a piece of kitchen roll or a soft cloth and no detergents and absolutely no dishwasher.This is an update after only 2 years and 4 months. The non stick is now useless and pretty well everything sticks so it wasn't worth spending a lot on this frying pan. I might as well had bought a £20 pan every year and still been ahead. It seems there is supposed to be a 10 year warranty but I can find no contact info on Scanpan's website other than a phone number in Denmark. Also most companies only warranty the non-stick layer for a year or two. I won't be buying another one.

After having many frying pans that are just do not last, I paid extra for this. Well worth the money. The best frying pan by far I have ever used. Use it on gentle heat, very little if any oil and just wipe out with paper cloth. If I could give it more than five stars I would
