I mainly use essential oils to fragrance soy wax candles, so my evaluation of them is limited to their effectiveness as a scent, rather than topical or flavor applications. I also blend scents, so again, consider that when deciding how much weight to give my review. This brand has a nice, soft, grassy scent and is the fourth brand of lavender I have tried over the past 5 years. I have found that lavender adds depth to candle scents when used with lemon, frankincense, bergamot, and even peppermint. It also calms the scent of the heavy florals such as ylang ylang, jasmine and rose without overpowering the target fragrance. But it is one of the pricier scents, so I tend to use it judiciously. I have also found that I don't need the best of the best to make a wonderful smelling candle. But they do need to be pure, clean and the right consistency. This one fits those requirements at the price point that keeps my candle costs down. As a precaution, know what type of lavender you like best. There is a distinct difference between them with French lavender being the most highly prized. It is more pungent & earthier than the Bulgarian. If you are looking for a lavender that is strong and grassy, the French is going to make you happiest. If you like the sweeter, less pungent style of lavender, as I do, this one is likely to satisfy you. This is the second scent I have purchased from HIQILI. I have bought a lot of duds that I was pretty certain were not what they claimed to be from the cheaper sources, and it was not worth the gamble. I have found shopping by brand to be the easiest way to avoid being ripped off, so I am glad I followed the advice of other buyers and purchased HIQILI. For a lower price point compared to my usual brands, this will keep costs down making it easier for me to offer my candles at an affordable price.

HIQILI is an essential oil company I trust when I use essential oils. I have bought several essential oils by this brand. They have all been affordable. I have found new scents/essential oils through this company that I have not seen with others. These essential oils are non-oil based so they do not leave a residue behind. I have used them from recipes for holistic, anwlf care, and handmade products I create myself. I have also used these oils to create household cleaners. This particular order for this essential oil the lavender by HIQILI, was ordered to mix with vinegar and water, along with eucalyptus as a means to kill and prevent mold and mildew without the use of bleach or peroxide. During researching, I have found information on both bleach and peroxide being harmful when mixed with certain mold and mildew (please make sure to do your own research before attempting to create any product with this). I have sliding glass windows with aluminum frames which have been leaking outside air and causing condensation. I found mold inside of the tracks and the solution of this oil as well as HIQILI eucalyptus with lemongrass oil, cleaning vinegar and water. I was able to disinfect and rid the tracks of the windows of the mold and mildew. I no longer smell, mold or mildew when opening or shutting the windows or in my house at all. If you use vinegar as a cleaning solution/disinfectant, this is a great addition to add a smell/scent to your cleaning product. I have used the lavender essential oil by HIQILI for holistic relief of headache, as well as to provoke relaxation and ease personal tension for myself and others. This essential oil also works perfectly with all diffusers that I have used in the past without buildup. Be sure to check if any essential oils are pet friendly and do not use if allergic to lavender or any other ingredients.

This is a great brand! It’s super strong so you don’t need a lot of it for a good smell! I did spill the bottle all over my kitchen counter which is totally my fault lol. I 100% recommend getting this!

I just purchased my 2nd 3.38 ounce bottle of this. I absolutely love it! It smells and feels so clean and pure. I love applying it to my wrists and neck before I go to bed. I even mix it with some perfumes during the day. I put it in a spray bottle that I bought for essential oils and spray on my bed, curtains and couch. I have an autoimmune disease that causes dry eyes and mouth. My lips get very dry and cracked. Lavender oil is really good for dry lips and skin! I have used better quality lavender oils on my lips though- more expensive brands that are more moisturizing. My only other complaint is the smell doesn’t last very long. But, for the price it’s great! I wish I could give it 4.5 stars. I would give it 5 stars if the smell lasted longer!

I've tried quite a few lavender essential oils over the years, and while this one isn't my favorite, it works well enough for what I need. The scent is pleasant and recognizable as lavender, though it isn't quite as rich or long-lasting as some of the higher-end brands I've used. I primarily use it in my diffuser to freshen the air and create a relaxing atmosphere, and it does the job. For the price, it's a reasonable option if you're looking for an everyday lavender oil without spending a lot. While I may prefer other brands for aromatherapy or stronger fragrance, this one is perfectly serviceable for general household use. Overall, not the best lavender oil I've tried, but a decent value and suitable for basic diffusing and air freshening needs.

I use essential oils all the time and usually they are quite expensive, so I bought this with some apprehension. (I also Googled if it was a legitimate company etc). Have since bought more and I'm very happy with their oils. I use them for both my diffuser and to add fragrance when I'm cleaning. Great fragrances and really good price

very, very, very light scent that is barely detectable. Waste of money in my opinion. Won't buy ever again.
