Timberland PRO Men's Boondock 6 Inch Composite Safety Toe Waterproof Industrial Work Boot

I spent a lot of time researching work boots before buying these, and I’m glad I did. The quality is outstanding right out of the box, and they feel like they’re built to last.They’re surprisingly comfortable for such a rugged boot. Once broken in, they’ve provided excellent support whether I’m on my feet all day, walking job sites, or working outdoors. The waterproofing has also been great, keeping my feet dry without making the boots feel overly heavy.The construction and materials are exactly what I’d expect from Timberland PRO. They feel durable, offer great traction, and inspire confidence on different types of terrain. If you’re looking for a dependable pair of work boots that prioritize both comfort and durability, these are well worth the investment.

I’ve wanted a pair of these boots since they came out over 10yrs ago, because I love Timberlands and these boots look mean and durable! The problem was they were only available in a steel toe whenever I was in the market for new work boots. I work in an environment where I need to go through metal detectors at least once a day and it’s a pain to have to take your boots off every day. Finally I found them in this composite toe and shank!!! I read the negative reviews and I don’t agree with any of the issues except two and I found a solution for both. I wear a size 11R and the toes look very proportional to the boot, nothing clown like about them. I get compliments on these boots daily! No one is complimenting clown shoes. They are big but look at the pictures... this is a mean, durable, tough AF boot. Do they look small in the pictures? Lol. These boots are EXTREMELY comfortable in the soles as well!!! The two issues i read that I also had was tight/painful in the shin area and pain in the top of the foot/front ankle area from something digging in on one foot when walking. To fix the painful shin issue just don’t lace them through the very top hooks..... they are two hooks tall, tie them using only the bottom hooks, problem solved! The digging into the top of my right foot only issue made me look at why the left boot wasn’t doing it but the right was. The difference was on my right boot where the tongue fabric attached on one side was folded up and out instead of pulled down and in. All I had to do was push that canvas down with my finger when I tightened my laces for a few days to retrain the canvas to fold inwards instead of outwards and now it does it on its own like the left boot. When the canvas from the attached tongue folds down it protects your foot from where the leather folds in at your ankle as you walk. I’ve owned TONS of timberlands in my life and these boots are very high quality, worth every penny.

I've worn these boots since 2007, finally ordering a 4th pair. First pair I received from a Timberland sponsored community service project.These are very comfortable boots to wear 10+hrs on concrete floors, outdoors etc. The leather holds up very well and is very supple unlike some red wing boots and anecdotally 10x more comfortable than redwings as those are the standard to which every safety toe work boot is compared.They do seemingly loosen up a bit too much after a year but replacing the insole and wearing wool boot socks alleviates this issue. Most pairs I've owned have lasted 2-3 years of 50+ hrs/wk with the first pair lasting about 5 years (less use).They are heavy boots, when compared with much of what is available, and the first thing anyone who picks them up comments on but the comfort and stability these provide is unmatched by any other safety toe boot I have tried.The primary failure point that I've had with ALL of these boots are the laces, the eyelets cut through laces fast. Even polyamide (kevlar) laces don't last and I've tried various "unbreakable" laces. Polyamide is the only thing that lasts more than 6mo on these boots. The true death knoll for these boots always seems to be the sole splits/tears off near the toe/side of the toe. The soles are sewn into the leather of the boot but it's just not enough and tears through eventually. If Timberland could do anything to improve the eyelets and reinforce the sole to boot attachment these would probably last 5 years as you don't abuse your boots.That being said, since the soles are rather heavy and the failure point is the sole separating, people who like to kick heavy objects (pallets, boards, whatever) to move them around will ruin these boots quickly. Especially if you use the toe of the sole. Puts a ton of stress on the attachment and will tear the sole off. I am not saying they can't stand abuse but doing this is from my experience what causes them to fail. If I didn't kick anything with them they would likely last twice as long.TL;DR these are great boots that are comfortable and last quite long for hardworking/abused work boots. Laces tend to break/get cut more often and the soles eventually tear away near the toe after 2-3 years (for me).

If you need a good boot that fits good super durable. Look no further I’m a mechanic I’m in all kinds of oil mud dirt water they are slip resistant and they keep your feet dry they are super comfortable I’m 275lbs I’m on my feet 12 plus hrs a day the boots not to heavy at the end of the day … but definitely get the wide boot I’m digging these things… definitely buying another pair… 2 thumbs way up !!!!

Fit good and pretty comfortable. My only complaint is they rub on my shin in a way that causes discomfort if tied too tight or wearing thinner socks, but I do have bony shins.

For my feet, Timberlands are the best. At work I’m on concrete all day for 12 hours and my feet feel good at the end of the day. Never tested the electrical safety aspect but it’s a good idea in my line of work. These are my second pair of this line of boots and they’ll be my third too.

This is a really nice, well built, good-looking boot that fits GREAT. About myself. I'm 6'3" and weigh 350 lbs. I have wide feet. Won't even consider a boot or sneaker that's not a wide size and even then, they don't always fit. I wore these in my house for 4-5 hours. Heels stay in place with no rubbing and the anti-fatigue insoles make walking very comfortable. This boot is wide and provides a lot of support yet stays in place on your foot. In other words, it doesn't feel like your feet are swimming in them. Toe box is great. I was surprised how easy it was for me to move my toes around especially being a composite toe. Not being able to move my toes around is almost always an issue for me and that's with boots that are soft toe, these are a composite toe. Also, this boot is very easy to get on and off. You don't have to wrestle with them for ten minutes just getting them on and laced up or getting them off.The only issue with this boot is the eyelet/speed hook combination at the top of the boot. They stick out pretty far on the inside of the boot and dig into my skin. Bad....bad design! I wish Timberland either went with an eyelet or a speed hook not this AIO nonsense. Awful design! Truly heinous! Feels like there's a Pitbull biting on the side of my leg. Terrible!Even though I had to return, the fit/feel, support and look of this boot is so great, I still give it 5 stars. I'll return for the 8" boot. The eyelets/speed hooks are higher up on the 8" boot and you don't have to lace them all the way up just to keep them on your feet.FYI people. This is a work boot. It's big, bulky and heavy. They're supposed to be that way. If you don't want that then don't buy this boot. I've read a lot of reviews here where people complained about that. If you don't want big and bulky than try a cheap hiking style boot like something from Merrell.Will let you know how the 8" boot feels.

The boots them selves are great very waterproof which is what I needed now my feet are wet and freezing for 11 hours straight no more trench foot however if you do purchase this item I would recommend you buy better laces the ones it comes with are very thick and dont give a good enough snug feel like id like plus not long enough to really get a good tie other then this id highly recommend these work boots and for a size 15 wide they actually deliver for me what I need

My order is size 44EU not 43 EU ,I think they don't know how to read the order size,I'm little disappointed,but I'm bless that this size is fit to me,,even my size is not my order,im thankful that the shoes is fit and comfortable to me,thank you

El material de la bota es muy bueno, algo pesadas pero muy bien hechas, solo si vienen un poco grandes... Yo soy 7mx, creo que me quedaría el 6mx... De ahí en más todo bien, decici no regresarlas ya que usaré calcetas gruesas.
