Strong and versatile
I'm pretty sure you could use these for anything but for liquid they are great. I've started making bone broth and wanted a smaller and a larger size bag so bought the 500ml and 1 litre sizes and they are superb. They stand pretty still while pouring - just start off a little cautiously because on my first attempt I didn't and lost a little of my broth to the worktop - but assuming you start sensibly, unlike me, then it'll all then pour in. They are stable, useful and versatile and a great item to have, especially suitable for soups, stews, broths and sauces. Size-wise I would say to 500ml is about a decent cup full (say 400ml) and the 1 ltr one will comfortably hold 750ml. For me this was required for 2 people and between the 2 sizes I'm covered.

Take care when filling these soup storage bags. Best on the market for plastic storage,
I found the containers more flimsy than the ones I had previously bought. They are OK once you start pouring, however, they need liquid/sauce in them before they can be trusted to stand up. They do hold liquid well once the seal is firly secures. I was careful to put them in the freezer standing upright rather than laying on their side. Very usable but as I'd bought them years ago when plastic was more acceptable, these are less durable unless you make allowances. They are actually the better ones on the market. Others I've bought from different retailers, even though they were expensive, weren't as good as these ones.

Perfect for freezing!
I don't know why more people don't sell these. They are great. I used to get something similar from Sainsbury's - they even started selling them under their own brand, but don't seem to do them anymore. The good news is that Lakeland do sell them AND you get so many in this pack! I use them mostly for soups, but also stews etc. They are easy to sturdy and easy to fill. Squeeze the air out, close the seal and lay them flat - et voila! They take up so much less space in the freezer. They are quicker to defrost too (can be put in water to speed it up if need be). I wash them out and reuse them too. I love these and wouldn't be without them in my kitchen!

Great little bags for batch cooking (and camping ...)
I'd been after bags which had some depth for a while and came across these. They're free standing and quite stable, enough to ladle / pour soup into and the mouth is generally leak free if you close it properly. I generally don't fill these anywhere near to 1L. Instead, I find they work very well for dishing out individual portions; filling out the bag, whilst upright, then flattening the bag and squeezing out the air, before sealing. That way you can freeze portions for 1-2 of soups, sauces, curries etc in a very flat package taking up very little space in the freezer. They also make great little bags for keeping all your camping stuff together, with enough room to dig around in, due to the depth. I thought they'd be useful for carrying liquids in your hand luggage, whilst flying, however airport security asked me to transfer items into a flat bag,

Many uses and can be re-used
I have been making lots of different dishes (mainly soups) and freezing them and these bags are ideal. They do not leak and the seal is strong. I have bought them in different sizes but the 1 litre is the ones I use the most as it is the most practical size. The plastic is thicker than regular freezer bags and these bags can be reused. With care and by hand I have washed them out and then leave them to soak in warm water then turn them upside down to dry out. They are also convenient for freezing flour or flour mix (cake dry mix blends).

Great freezer atorage bags for home made soup
Have used these bags for a long time, they stand easily to allow both hands free when filling, just wish they had graduated lines, to gauge smaller portions, instead of ladling into a measure jug first before pouring. Otherwise, sturdy and useful. Liquids have to be thawed first, to empty the bag and avoid cutting, as the frozen shape will not go through the bag top.

A great find!
My Mum uses these and recommended them to me for putting homemade soup in and freezing it in portions. She usually buys these in the Lakeland shop, however it was during lockdown that I wanted to buy these, so I decided to try online, I was delighted to see that Amazon have them. They are very strong, sturdy plastic pouches. Unite tricky putting the soup in, as you need to make sure they are sitting on a balanced surface or wedged between something to keep the bag upright whilst you spoon the soup in, I have also used these bags successfully for casseroles too. Would definitely recommend as they are much more space-saving than using plastic containers in the freezer. You can store more with these bags.

A utiliser sans modération
C'est un article formidable pour stocker soupes, sauces et restes alimentaires au congélateur. On peut décongeler les aliments dans le sachet au bain-marie .... avant de les préparer , c'est formidable.
