Ayr Saline Nasal Gel, With Soothing Aloe, 0.5-Ounce Tubes

My nose was so sore and had scabs after bad hay-fever and im sorry to say picking it with false nails on. I just couldn't help myself. I bought this ans within 2 days wow it's totally better! Thank you!

Had a big issue with the skin in my nose being dry to the high use of fans this summer and this worked amazingly. Applied with a cotton bud it helped soothe the sore areas. There is a lot in the tube so I haven't finished it yet which is great value.

I find this gel really helps my nose which can get very dry and sore overnight.

This has been a good non-medical substitution for a medical ointment I had to use inside my nose for a week or so to heal some dryness and bleeding. Good but not amazing. What the medicated ointment accomplished in a couple of days, this gel accomplishes in about a month of continuous use. That may not seem great on paper but the difference is this gel is non-medicated so can be used continuously, whereas other medications and similar gels can't be used continuously, safely. I use it every day. It's something I'm likely to have to keep using for the foreseeable future as it keeps the symptom of my problem at bay and doctors don't know what's causing my dryness and bleeding inside my nose.I do have to be careful I don't leave gel on the outside or rim of my nose otherwise I seem to have a painful and red skin reaction to it. I don't know for sure but this could just be because the thick and sticky gel consistency is problematic for external skin pores. But it's ok as long as the gel stays within my nose.The big problem I have with this is that the tube is small and doesn't last long, coupled with the fact I have to use it every day means I have to buy a new tube every month or less. This combined with the fact they've literally doubled the price of it within the last month makes it a very hard sell now and I'm probably going to have to look for a cheaper alternative. It's basically a synthetic form of saline water and Aloe Vera with some other substances to create the gel consistency, I don't see how it can possibly have warranted a doubling in price recently given the seemingly simplistic ingredients.The box packaging is also seriously oversized for the product and looks cheap, which makes me think the manufacturer is just making this product into a cash cow by not even bothering to make its own box sizes and reusing a box template from other products to make even more money from this. Obviously these days this kind of thing has a knock-on effect environmentally - using more wood/cardboard than is needed by about 3x.

I was having frequent nosebleeds, even after cauterisation. Ayr applied morning and night has completely eradicated them. An outstanding product

This was so soothing on a very red sore nose with a cold. It smelt a lovely light aloe vera smell and was so gentle. This I would definitely buy again. Soothing and calming. 10/10Would be great for people in hospital when they wear oxygen prongs, would be soothing.

Excellent for dry nose

This product is a game changer. Very moisturizing and a saver option than vaseline.

So, I have ordered the 'Ayr' saline gel spray (and love it); then decided to order this 'Ayr' saline nasal gel (with soothing aloe).I like that this tube came in a sealed box, and the tube is totally sealed upon receiving. To open, you use the cap to puncture through the foil protective film. This is a decent sized tube (0.5 ounce), and a little bit goes a long way.This gel is thick, but absorbs well into the skin; there's no greasy feeling, and no stickiness either. I use a q-tip to help directly apply the gel into my nose; I feel relief from dryness within minutes. I like that I can not only use this for my nostrils, but also use for dry/sore areas around my nose (such as what may come from frequent tissue use).This gel has been truly helpful for my needs. I have allergies, as well as frequent sinus issues; this leaves my nose feeling so sore and dry (at times). This gel works wonders for me, and could be helpful for other purposes too (like CPAP or oxygen users).I am very satisfied with this product, and happy with how better my nose feels. Since this gel is super thick, and goes a long way; I do think this is a good value for the price point (currently listed at around $3.62). It's also nice that this product is FSA approved, which may be of importance to some. I definitely can recommend this product, and would order again.
