Riedel Vinum Viognier/Chardonnay Glasses, Set of 2

Great glasses which brings out the full flavor and aroma.

Look good, but don's knock one on the floor.

Ideal size for Chardonnay. Typical Riedel elegant stem and bowl.

Most prefer not to admit it but you can serve ordinary wine in a beautiful glass and guests will think it's wonderful. Serve beautiful wine in an ordinary glass and the wine will taste ordinary too. (It works on yourself too. I know you don't believe that :) Durable and sturdy? Not so much. They weren't made to be durable and sturdy. They were made to be beautiful.

Best packaging in the industry

I purchased ‘used’ open box at a reduced price and had them sent to a different address, as a gift. I was worried about the delivery and presentation but the recipient reported no issues and made a nice gift. The original box was still intact. So maybe I was lucky but have faith, it’s possible to get through mail. As for quality, the brand is my fav, and you should’ve seen the recipients old glasses.

We own several of the Chablis/Chardonnay Vinum glasses, and I was trying to replace a broken glass. The Chablis/Chardonnay glasses are no longer shown on the Riedel website, only the Viognier/Chardonnay model. An Amazon reviewer stated the the two glasses were identical. They are not. The Chablis version has a wider bowl than the Viognier version. The difference is small, but obvious. There are still Chablis/Chardonnay glasses available in the 8-pack if this is important to you. Since we use these glasses for Chardonnay, I would have preferred the somewhat wider bowl.

Great for whites, but I love for Reds. Especially when you want a smaller pour. Wider rim gives you plenty of the bouquet. Big enough to swirl.

Sono scioccato: i bicchieri sono stati spediti nella loro confezione normale infilati in una semplice busta. La loro confezione è arrivata piuttosto disastrata, per fortuna i bicchieri erano intatti.

Excellently packaged including informative and entertainingly written Reidel box and leaflet. I was replacing a broken glass originally received as a gift many years ago, but the price for 2 was good value. Very happy with my purchase they are a pleasure to use.

Copas de gran calidad, de fabricación industrial, nada que ver con la delicadeza de la serie Sommeliers, pero lo suficientemente delicadas para poder disfrutar un buen vino, con mayor durabilidad de la copa y mayor facilidad de lavado.

Wine, in a glass... no more lugging about the whole bottle for me.
