As expected
Not much to say, it's everything it should be.Screw thread is easy and smooth.It has no leaks.Size is perfect.Offset from the valve arm is perfect, it clears the syphon just right.I present you with a photo of this ball in action!

cheaper than diy store and next day delivery, so saved me a trip! Does its job. simple.

It floats!
It floats! It has a brass threaded insert. Replaced to old red plastic one which had faded and become encrusted with scale. Does the job as intended!! Not much more to say!

Fits Twyfords Cisterns
Perfect replacement for a Twyfords cistern. Slightly different shape but thread fits fine (2 minute job). The brass thread insert is much stronger than the original plastic one.

There is a weak point I think
The brass insert that you screw the ball cock arm into doesn't have much plastic around it, as this is the main stress point only time will tell how long it lasts. Having said that as other floats from well known diy stores fail within months this is worth a try.
