Excellent quality kitchen string

I have used this twine a few times now on both fish and meat and have found it to be absolutely fine. It feels strong and ties nicely, haven't had it fray when using or stick to my food (though that is usually caused by tying too tightly). I also haven't had it cut into the food even when using on fish. I have seen a number of reviews complaining that the twine is too thin but I think the pictures fairly represent the thickness of the twine, view on PC if you can. This isn't exactly cheap but for a home cook who will maybe use this once or twice a month this will last me many years so for me it's good value for money. No reason why I wouldn't recommend. Bought to use when steaming christmas puddings and tying meat joints. String is good quality yet strong enough to remain in place during cooking. Plenty of string for the home cook to use so good value for money.

I bought this string to play with my cat. Sounds odd I know, but he loves to chase a length of it tied to a short cane. My only criticism is that it is thinner than I would have liked, but that is a personal thing. It is strong, clean, and does the job, ( flossing his teeth in the process ). I change the piece of string every day, and as the roll is a decent size, is lasting quite well.

I got this to tie up some Cowboy steaks during smoking and grilling so they didn't fall apart. There's 2 rolls and plenty on each so should last me a while for my typical use scenario. These are also handy for anyone who wants to tie up a joint of meat before roasting as they are safe to use during the cooking process.

Not used yet as going to be used in the garden for holding up light plants. Wanted a natural product to avoid using plastics and clogging up the planet. Open and both my wife and I agree that this will ideal so now waiting for Spring when everything, hopefully, will start growing and this twine can be put to good use. The seller has already sent a message to check that this was received which is very good customer service, well done.

Handy good string

This stuff is thin and snaps easily. Fine if you’re just trussing a chicken and you don’t need much tension but bad if you need something tight like a rolled joint. After several snappages trying to tighten up a greasy porchetta I had to triple-up the cord for each tie when my expectation would be that one cord would be sufficient. It isn’t. They snap. It drove me bonkers. My instinct was to give zero stars, such was my rage at the time, but perhaps that's unfair on the assumption that they are food safe (made in china so no way to tell if that claim is accurate) and after tripling it up they do seem to be holding up.

Fil professionnel, de diamètre trop gros pour un usage par un particulier pour la cuisine quotidienne par exemple ficeler une paupiette ou un bouquet garni. Le diamètre dépasse 1mm et le rouleau doit faire 50 m de longueur! Il s'agit plutôt d'une corde que d'un fil!

Guter stabiler Faden, prima für alles mögliche, leider für meine Macramee-Pläne zu dünn. Ergibt beim Knüpfen eine etwa 3 mm dicke Schnur.
