I purchased this during the summer when we had a rare heatwave in the UK. The items in our fridge didn't seem to be as cold as what they should be but the fridge had no thermometer so we really had no idea what the temperature was. This really helped identify that our fridge was running too warm and needed turning down considerably to get it within the 'safe' zone. It seems to be pretty well made and has a nice finish. It can be hung from a shelf or adjusted so it stands up on its base. The base is a little bit fiddly but once it's set you can don't have to adjust it. It was much larger than I was expecting but it lives at the back of the fridge so it's not too much of an issue. If you were hanging it from a shelf it may get in a way and could easily be knocked off. Pros: - Made by Salter so has a nice finish and feels well made - Temperature reading is accurate and have backed this up with another thermometer since puchasing - 2 year warranty Cons: - Base is a little bit fiddly - It is quite large so lives near the back of my fridge.

These thermometers are a must have for your fridge and freezer to make sure that you have your fridge and freezer at the correct temperature, they are made by a well-known brand, they are mechanical so no battery's to worry about and I believe they are accurate

Obviously not as accurate as digital, but works perfectly and doesn't require batteries. I purchased for a long camping trip to monitor the temp in a cool box.

Nice size easy to read

This fridge/freezer thermometer does exactly what it’s supposed to. The stainless steel body feels strong and durable, and it handles the cold and moisture with no problem. The display is big and easy to read, which makes it quick to check the temperature at a glance. It covers a good temperature range and helps me make sure my food is stored safely. I also like that you can hang it or just place it on a shelf — it fits nicely without getting in the way. Great little tool to have for peace of mind in the kitchen!

This is a nice, easy to read dial thermometer. I bought quite a few thermometers, and compared them at room temperature, in a fridge, and in a freezer. This one agreed with several other thermometers, which I believe to be accurate, at room temperature (22 degrees C) and in a freezer (at -23 and -20 degrees C). Unfortunately, in the fridge, it indicated 6 degrees C when three other thermometers agreed it was 3 degrees C. This may not sound much, but it's not accurate enough to correctly set your fridge thermostat. For me, the most accurate dial thermometer was a Taylor one (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B083GCTTTN). But the best of all was an old-fashioned liquid thermometer (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003ARNLVA).

Ho acquistato due termometri, uno per la zona frigorifero e uno per la zona freezer. Dopo aver verificato la temperatura con un termometro digitale affidabile, posso affermare che entrambi i termometri sono molto precisi e che in fase di test riportavano entrambi la solita temperatura. La cassa del termometro è in acciaio inox ed è veramente fatta bene. Il termometro può essere agganciato o semplicemente appoggiato sui ripiani. Il quadrante è facilmente leggibile e le zone che indicano le giuste temperature di frigorifero e freezer sono molto utili. Reputo il prezzo un po' eccessivo, però va detto che questi termometri sono realizzati molto bene. L'unica mancanza è l'impossibilità di leggere le letture minime e massime, ma io volevo un termometro senza pile e quindi sono pienamente soddisfatto del mio acquisto.
