This is my first time using this type of bath sponge, and I really like them. The shape makes it easy to hold and helps me clean and gently exfoliate my skin. They also create a nice amount of lather with my body wash, which I really enjoy. The size is just right for me, and the overall quality feels very good. They don’t feel too hard or overly rough against my skin, but still have enough texture to exfoliate effectively. So far, I haven’t experienced any irritation or discomfort while using them. Overall, I’m very happy with my first experience with this type of sponge. They feel comfortable, work well, and have been a great addition to my shower routine.

The body sponges soften after 2 or 3 uses. I got it on a flash sale so thats what got me purchasing this item as opposed to other body sponges. But came here to write that it softens after 2 or 3 uses. Because I was prepared to detest this product and come here to leave 1 star and give a scathing "this is so hard and abrasive, negative 100 out of 10." But it softens with use and becomes pleasant.

These sponges are good if you are looking for something that is a little exfoliating without being too rough on the skin. They do not expand a lot when wet, so get only a little larger in size after absorbing water and are easy to grip. The texture is light and sponges squeeze out well and dry quickly and easily. The set of three is a good value for the price. The attached loops enable them to be hung to dry. They seem prone to splitting or cracking over time due to the design that is lightweight and full of air pockets.

I love this natural alternative over a plastic body puff. It helps lather up the soap well but I'm not rubbing plastic all over my body. Others mentioned a slight roughness to the texture and it's true it sort of feels scratchy when you rub on your skin, but not in a bad way in my opinion, I like it. It feels like it's exfoliating as I wash. I noticed this sponge comes in a bunch of different shapes too so that is cool too. It also feels quite sturdy, like it's going to last a long time and not fall apart.

These are the best bath sponges I have ever come across. They have just the right firmness. Flat side and rounded side access all areas. They hold together for months. I will definitely buy these again.

Love the size of these and they do lather well but they are ROUGH on my skin. I’ve been using them for about 3 weeks now and they’ve gotten a little softer but still not as soft as I’d like. The first 6-7 times I used them I honestly thought it felt like sandpaper on my skin.

Switched to these from a traditional wash cloth and glad I did. They allow my body wash to suds up much more and are a bit exfoliating which I like and need. Some reviews mention that they are too rough, but I don’t find them to be too rough.

Throw the plastic ones away. These sponges are large, rough and soak up your body wash and the soap stays in the sponge not just running down the drain like plastic ones and are grown but natural like the ones from the sea. It exfoliates better than anything we tried (many) so the search is over! The sponges are large and easy to hold. I’m getting these for family for goody gift baskets. 100% recommended.
