ViewSonic TD2465 24 Inch 1080p Touch Screen Monitor, 10-Point Multi-Touch for Industrial and Retail Environments, Glove-Friendly Interaction, Advanced Ergonomics, HDMI, USB

I purchased this monitor for an IOT dashboard to manage home automation. My requirements, besides the obvious that the touch function works, View angle and clarity has to be good enough to see across the room. Other monitors I tried prior to this in the effort to save money failed with faded colors and fuzzy images. With this, you will have crisp images from a wide view angel and a black background. The thin borders and overall appearance is a big plus. I combined this monitor with a mini-pc holder and a wall kit to complete the installation. I was first concerned about the build in stand when hanging the monitor but it comes in handy when repositioning the monitor / PC. The size is perfect for viewing across the room. I had no issues using HDMI with windows except for a sound issue that I can't determine if it is windows or HDMI audio within the monitor. I had to use an audio cable and Aux input because a ding sound would not be played through the monitor using HDMI. 18 months later and we are still enjoying this monitor. ViewSonic is my go-to for now on, quality is amazing.

Touch screen monitors are great for people with mobility (shaky hands) and visibility difficulties. I have used "regular" ViewSonic monitors for years and have always found them to be reliable and fairly priced. The 24 inch touch screen monitors (I have purchased 2 for friends) also fall into that same category. They are easy to install, and are virtually Plug & Play (you just have to remember to plug in the HDMI and the USB connectors). It is the USB connection that provides the Touch capability (on Windows computer). This monitor is well built (very sturdy), it is very clear and crisp, and the touch is very sensitive and responsive. An added feature is that you can either use the screen stand (which folds out from the back of the screen) or you can attach the vesa mount/stand provided. I am very impressed with the ViewSonic monitors, and so are the folks that are using them.

I saw this monitor recommended for use with the Dakboard program. We have a mini hp computer hooked up to it and it's the perfect setup to have on our living room bookshelves. Impressed with the quality and the touch response is great. Was hoping it would go on sale for Black Friday but we bit the bullet and bought it anyway. Really pleased. It has held up well so far.

Decent brightness, fairly sturdy build except for the rubber feet which wore off easily, good color and contrast, the adjustable back stand is nice but a bit of shame it doesn't stay in place but for the price its worth it. Touch sensitivity is fast, i recommend buying touch pen to use with the display

They show it working with a Mac -- it's a fraud. (Not any modern Mac laptop or Apple Silicon). (1) The driver documentation is the worst I've seen in 35 years in Tech Doc -- missing steps, wrong steps -- they tell you to do things like boot in safe mode, but not how, they forget to tell you to install driver. I'm a software engineer, so I got their drivers installed anyway, but it doesn't work. (2) it needs cables they don't provide. So I bought 3 other cables. On a MacBook Air I needed a USB-C to HDMI/Display Port. Then you need a USB-C - USB-B to dive send touch commands. (You can't use the USB-A ports they have on the back, but they don't document that you need this at all, you have to call tech support to find out). Then because you filled up both your ports on an Air, I needed a 3rd pass-thru adapter and power supply to power the MacBook Air. (Since it doesn't have a dedicated power port, and the monitor doesn't provide power over USB). (3) Their tech support doesn't know Macs and couldn't escalate me to anyone that knew a Mac. They just read the same lousy documentation and I pointed out the missing steps, and they said, "oh yeah, you're right". But we couldn't get it to recognize the device. So it's a touch monitor that supports Mac, as a non-touch monitor. The hoops to install (like booting in safe mode, lowering your security, then installing the driver, is a series of hurdles because of Apple and/or because they haven't updated the driver to a new style in a few years). It might work better for Intel Macs with much older versions of the OS. But it makes customizing your own Linux install look plug-and-play.

I bought this to have a 24 in touch screen tablet when connected to the Samsung Note 10 plus. Works as expected. As expected you do need to have both a USB and HDMI connection which is more annoying than just having a you a single USB C connection. Cable management is an issue if you want to put this on your lap and interact directly as a tablet. I will have to build some cable management to keep the cables safe and not have them wear on their input sockets. But this is advertised for public facing screens and not for heavy duty up close productivity use. Detailed drawing isn't as good as using a pen on the Note 10 plus, but generally when you're using such a big screen for non-art uses it's fine. Mind mapping and information organizing using larger gestures to move things around works great. Wire adjustable stand works well if you put this on the desk and want to adjust the angle for drawing or for viewing. It really is great to be able to access things directly. When I have to go back to a mouse for most things it feels like a step back.

The color quality is excellent! I'm not super-critical, but there is nothing obvious to complain about.

Great unit. The support is sturdy, the screen is crisp and responsive. Works great with my mini pc and my Mac.

Excellent buy for the price, no issues at all. Brilliant screen for reading sheet music side by side, it is light enough to sit on my music rest, and so simple to set up just plug the mains lead in and attach a usb lead and your away.

I had to replace a very very very old touchscreen that used infra red light around the frame to detect fingers. I decided to buy this monitor because it is supposed to work with certain active styli with palm rejection. This monitor works great as a touchscreen, and it works with my Microsoft Surface stylus. The caveat is that the MS stylus need to be powered off. If the stylus is powered on, the monitor doesn't track it any better than it tracks the cheap capacitive styli. When the stylus is powered off, the tracking is pretty good. The palm rejection is not perfect, but not bad. While this monitor comes with a built in kickstand, I instead attached a proper monitor stand that lets me recline the monitor almost flat to the desk. It's basically a Microsoft Surface Studio now. Overall I'm super happy with this monitor and its features. UPDATE: I was so happy with this monitor I bought a second one for a different computer. There's no monitor at this price point that works with an active stylus so I'm very happy.

Great monitor. Plugged everything required in then started Ubuntu 24.04 laptop. Had to enter laptop Disply settings to make the Viewsonic primary display then everything worked very well. Closed laptop lid then resolution on monitor changed to maximum. Very nice picture, great touch response. Quick & accurate. Delighted with the Viewsonic TD2465 Touch. Well worth the money.
