This is a beautiful canister. The lid goes on very tight so I'm hoping that with use it will be easier to open. I use it to store sealed foil sachets of tea. I have another canister, size demi in Courtly Check, that stores coffee. The canister arrived quickly and was packaged well. Pro tip: I recommend buying from Amazon because free shipping and easy returns, which is not the case if buying direct from M-C. If you can find what you want on AMZ, there's your answer.
