I've only used coal forges before this (if you can call my pile of bricks and a hair dryer a coal forge), but I'm never going back to coal after this! It was easy to assemble, and impossible to get wrong if you lose the instructions. The shell is tough, and the fire burns hot, heating up railroad spikes in a fraction of the time it would take for coal to do the same job. You can hook up any propane tank to the hose, and I actually use the same tank I use on my grill! It works just as well as a forge you can get for hundreds, and this is by no means a "you get what you paid for" product. The quality is actually better than I expected! Money well spent.

We purchased this for a teenage grandson who is getting into knife making. It was a big hit! He and his dad told us it works very well and he has made several pieces while using it.

You will need to buy or make some rigidizer to coat the installation with. I used Mr. Volcano, I also tried the Refractory cement and all it did was crack and crumble off. After applying it started cracking within 2 hours, got worse as it dried. If I had to do it again I would either make my own rigidizer or buy 2 or 3 bottles of Mr. Volcano. I sprayed several coats on with a paint sprayer letting it dry ( using a small electric blower heater 2 hours) between coats .

This works very well. I realy enjoy this two burner. It does the trick.

Really like it, works well and easy to assemble. Be sure to get rigidizer and refractory cement to make the insulation last longer.

Works 100% better than expected. I use it all the time and have had no issues. Heats up steel to temp super fast and even. Would buy again and again

I've had this about a week now, and have used it every day. I like it, but I don't at the same time. I like it because it heats metal for me to shape. I don't like it because I can't just use one burner at a time if I'm doing a small task. The flame backs up into the other burner and melted all the paint off. And I don't like that there isn't some sort of door on the back side. So much energy is lost just venting out the back. I've gone though nearly 30 gallons of propane already. My one burner will make a 25 gallon last nearly a month. If I am doing a long piece, fine. But most of my projects fit in the box as is. Please make a door. I don't regret buying it. But I won't buy another one unless they make changes.

There's not much for assembly instructions, but it's pretty easy to figure out how to assemble it. It is not difficult, but you need to be careful and make sure you have everything in place and you have checked everything for gas leaks with some water and dish-soap in a spray bottle. If you see bubbles coming from a coupling, you have a gas leak & need to turn off the gas bottle & tighten everything up & try pressurizing the system again. The burner has to be adjusted to burn clean, by adjusting the oxygen intake. The air/fuel mixture. It outputs an enormous amount of heat & will quickly heat up the metal inside. It has a small footprint, with a lot of possibilities for creating almost anything in metal. BE SAFE with this forge, it will burn you severely in only a moment or two. Make sure you have it outside of the house and you are prepared to shut-off the gas in an emergency situation!! Keep a fire extinguisher with the gas bottle, incase you need it.

Good and as described

It is made of good quality material. For this price I was suspicious, but it surprisedme, it feels sturdy. It is easy to set up and the refractory fiber comes already well carefully installed on to the inner walls. All you need is refractory cement and a gas bottle and you are ready to forge.

Trés content de cette petite forge, ça chauffe vite, c est l avantage de la petite ouverture, qui du coup devient un inconvenient dès qu on veut chauffer de plus grosses pieces. Le montage est facile et j ai recouvert la laine avec du ciment réfractaire qui n est pas fourni avec. J utilise souvent un seul bruleur, et il vaut mieux dans ce cas déboiter l autre, sinon il va perdre rapidement sa peinture protectrice.

Forger la tige d'un forêt de 25 mm. Chauffe rapide...mais attention de bien placer le tuyau car risque chauffe, de détérioration et feu ...d'où mon commentaire...tuyau un peu court
