Very pleased with these, my grandson really likes using them. I was concerned when they were described as foam, but they are a lightweight but rigid material and thick, also easy to handle and stack for small fingers. They easily form a stable stack for young children whereas plastic counters slide about. Numbering is a good size, very neat and clear, a perfect aid for teach value, place and addition/subtraction.

Absolutely fabulous, so handy in helping with homework, admittedly wasn’t expecting them to be made from foam, but none the less they do the job and that’s all that matters!!

These are fab but not very durable. They're okay if you use them with children who will look after them, but if you have children who tend to bend things or bite them, these won't last long. I've had mine for months and they're doing well though! I bought 2 packs and that meant I had enough for a few tables.

These place value counters are so invaluable in class. We have bought a pack for each table now and the children love to use them, not only for the maths aspect, but also simply for the nice feel of them. Very helpful indeed!

We use this colour system at school. Very useful for working with children who are visual learners! Will come in very handy.

Didn’t realise these were foam, not hard wearing for a school setting. Popular with the children but they’re tempted to bend them. 🙄

I was initially disappointed that they were not plastic which I thought they would be. My mistake from misreading the description. They do work well in foam and they work just as well as the plastic ones but just not as durable when you use them in the primary classroom. I would buy them again.

Love this also because of versatility of product. Great for review of number concepts as well as place value, expanded notation. Also look forward to using it with addition and subtraction and together with the place value flip chart mentioned previously.

Questi della Learning Resources sono dei dischetti pensati per far imparare ai più piccoli magari giocando le cifre e le decine. Vengono confezionati all'interno di una bustina in plastica, dove all'interno si mostrano davvero molto colorati e belli da vedere. Sono realizzati con una miscela in plastica spugnosa, molto simile a quella utilizzata per i tappetini da gioco. Hanno un diametro di circa 2,5 cm e i diversi colori ne indicano anche la diversa cifra. Sono molto simili a delle fiches da gioco, infatti indicano le decine. Nel dettaglio all'interno del sacchetto sono presenti: - 40 dischetti di colore azzurro con indicato il valore 1 - 40 dischetti di colore viola con indicato il valore 10 - 40 dischetti di colore arancione con indicato il valore 100 - 40 dischetti di colore giallo con indicato il valore 1'000 - 40 dischetti di colore verde con indicato il valore 10'000 - 40 dischetti di colore rosso con indicato il valore 100'000 - 40 dischetti di colore blu con indicato il valore 1'000'000 I dischetti sono molto morbidi, falici da impilare e ho notato che sono davvero leggerissimi e si piegano addirittura. Come inizio per dei bambini che devono imparare i numeri e le decine sono davvero ottime. Si può magari fare un gioco usandoli come pedine, così da impararli a contare e distinguere magari il numero 10 dal numero 100.
