I built several arcade machines this year and two of them benefitted greatly from this panel mount HDMI Port. One was a standard barcade style arcade case with a laptop built inside. I chose the slightly longer cable for this and ran the video right out the back. Another one was a micro computer built into a Classic Xbox case. A little case modification and the Panel mount fit right in the old power cable port. This I chose the shortest one to eliminate extra cable inside. They both work perfectly, the mount is sturdy. They provide a great engineering diagram with dimensions so that you can cut your hole just the right size. You have to make sure to leave enough material so that you don't weaken the area where the screws will mount through the case/panel.

I use these on my Amiga when hooked up to a Pistorm.

Turned a 2011 27" iMac that had it's second GPU go into a standalone monitor. Used this to take the internal HDMI connection from the VDisplay board to create a female HDMI port in the old RAM access slot. Made a much cleaner looked and worked perfectly. LCD goes to sleep and wakes perfectly as expected.
