Easy to cook with, very flavourful
I really like to do meals with this that cook while I'm out for an errand. You simply soak the pot in water for a while, then throw all the ingredients inside, and put it in the cold oven, switch it on and leave it for an hour. When you get back, you have a delicious meal waiting for you.A word of warning, though: my oven switches off automatically after the timer has rung a certain number of times. With this pot it is pretty hard to burn anything, but if you are an hour later than you thought you would be... I'm not giving any guarantees!

Always Good Results
I have been using a Roemertopf for years and years, for roasting, baking, stews and curries. Now my son and my grandson are using one. In fact, the one I have just ordered is for my grandson, aged 15, who has used mine a couple of times and is impressed how easy it is to cook a delicious roast with very little fuss.

Slow roaster
Exactly as I expected. Slow cooks red meat in wine really well. Not so good for chicken unless raised off the base. Really pleased with it.

Der Römertopf ist super, zum Brot backen. Und er lässt sich gut reinigen, da die Innenseite des unteren Teil beschichtet ist. Ist aber relativ hoch, am besten vorher den Ofen ausmessen, ob es passt.
