I can't see the shoe horn part on it in the photo. Does it have a shoe horn please?

Yes it does, it is small but it is that nobbly bit on the top left. I had a hip replacement this year and this device was absolutely essential for me. Brilliant at picking things up as I couldn't bend, used it as an aid to put on my underwear and the shoe horn does work, although it is small you can hook it onto the back of your shoe and then slip your foot in. It's not as effective as a long handled shoe horn but at least it holds the back of the shoe out. Hope this helps.

Would it pull weeds up?

Might grip the ones that don’t have strong roots......the end only has 12mm wide “fingers” grip...

I can't work out how the head revolves. It seems firmly fixed on mine. Help please?

I do not think that the head is supposed to revolve. To me, that would defeat this great gadget's usefulness as being a sturdy, elongated "extension of the arm" and in so doing provides a very firm grip on lifting items from the floor or in narrow spaces. If the head revolved, it would diminish it's firm grip which is so useful. I find mine to be indispensable, using it this way. Hope this is helpful. Almonds.
