Blister Plasters for Toes, Hydrocolloid, Pack of 8

Much better than an average plaster. Took these away on a trip to America. Lots and lots of walking involved and as a family of 5, 3 of us ended up having to use these. They are like an extra layer of skin, don't fall off too easily despite showering and perspiration from the humidity, ranges in different sizes. I won't be returning to normal plasters again

I’m gym/swim and do an aqua class 3 days a week. First day back on treadmill caused 3 blisters on on one foot and 2 on the the other (sides and under big and littlest toes) so that’s 5 plasters in just one use. And the max in one pack is 8. I’ve found that they’ll stay on through the gym and first water activity but then they start to peel away, become slimy and unsightly so I have to change them but only have 3 left. So I had to use normal plasters for gym and only use theses ones in water activity. But doing aqua, coming out and then going back into swim still makes them peel off in half a day. I’ve now ordered another 3 packs (of 8) to get me through maybe 5 or 6 such days. When not at gym or in pool, they stay on longer obvs as just quick shower exposure to water. But they do cover the blister (if small). Larger blisters may not be fully covered or cushioned and where I’ve used 2 to cover larger blisters, still not ideal cos the healing gel part on one is sticking to the first plaster in parts rather than the rest of the blister. Also means if one starts to peel (or you pull it off), it also unpeeled the other. In short I wish they’d do a larger pack with various sizes an shapes! The healing gel works though as I’ve noticed an improvement each day. Hopefully when fully healed and skin hardened I won’t need to buy any more.

Recommended by a friend I use these all the time in different sizes and shapes to prevent blisters when hiking, even if my feet and socks get wet, my feet are protected.However, do not ignore their advice about removal. I took off the plaster for my bunion and didn't wet it first, several layers of skin peeled off as easy as you please, took ages to heal and two months on I still have the scar. Fortunately I stopped as soon as I realised what was happening so it was a fairly small wound.The other disadvantage is any part of the plaster you are walking on will get warm and stick to your sock, leaving an adhesive residue that does not wash out. I keep meaning to write to Compede to ask about this.On balance they do the job and I give them 5 stars

Bought 2 of these back in December, they work fine, easy to apply, stick well for about 5-6 days after daily foot washing. Unfortunately I didn't notice a massive crack out of the plastic on one side of the pack through which 2 plasters had escaped. Just came to use it, only 6 plasters, too late for a refund. Why are they using plastic anyway?!

I am prone to blisters when I walk in excess of 20,000 steps. These are special bandaids that seal the blister and medicate the blister to assist in it drying painlessly. They are now a staple in my bag whenever I travel especially because they can't be found everywhere.
