This is a case designed specifically for 16" Laptops so the answer is that it would handle the task perfectly.

It looks more cream than pink - is it?

There may be alternate colours but mine is black .. no hint of pink or cream. This is primarily a computer case not a carry on luggage bag though it meets onboarding dimensions.

How heavy is it, please?

the bag is not heavy thats why I went for this. very light and easy to move about with
