Do I need to buy another stable mounting bracket?

The mount for the phone and monocular is far better than a couple others I purchased and later returned.

What is the magnfication? 8x or 12x or 16x maybe? 80 doesn't seem right..

Mine is indeed marked as 80x100 which indicated 80 times magnification. Looking though the telescope with my right eye and a distant object with my left eye only, demonstates considerable magnification (much more than 16x)
