My dog got an eye infection from playing in the water at the beach. i had some left over eye antibiotic from a while back and used that. His eye cleared up instantly but there was only about five day’s worth left. Still, I thought it was done. Couple days later the eye goop came back. Now I actually had a reason to use the vetericyn eye gel. I applied it three times a day for about 10 days, and it completely healed. It has been over a month and his eyes still are fine. So highly recommend this product. FYI I only ised the gel, I did not buy their eye wash.

I’ve been using the eye wash and eye gel on my dog for a few days to treat his eye infection, and the yellowish discharge has completely cleared up. The gel also reduced the redness, especially after I started applying it at home. It’s been really effective, and it’s helpful to keep this in mind for future vet visits.

The pet eye gel works. I use it on a cat who has allergies & it helps to keep his eyes clear. It’s Easy to use. Doesn’t appear to bother my pet. Once you apply it you have to massage the closed eye, It is a gel & blears their vision if you don’t. It will clear on it’s own of course but if it’s an outside pet you want to be sure they can see clearly before letting them wonder off.

I’ll say 4 stars. It’s easy to apply and it worked to clear up the eye in 3 days. Now, 2 days later to gooey eye started back but, I know this stuff works so I’ll apply it for a week straight.

My dog's eye boogers were looking more cloudy, thick, and yellow. These dog's cleared up the boogers in a day or so! Love that the drops are a gel- it makes it easier to apply and more tolerable for my dog v. a more liquid consistency.

Vetericyn products have been a staple in our canine medical cabinet for years. I sold their products in my retail pet supply store since they were first introduced and continue using their new products as necessary to relieve our mastiff's occasional maladies. The eye gel clears her summer eye redness due to pollen etc quicker than one would expect. After treatment she ceases to rub her eyes on her bed and the whites of her eyes returns and the red is gone.

This product is very thick, much as you would expect from a gel. You really need a cloth or tissue to work it into the eye. While it doesn't seem to cause any harm I did not notice much of an improvement either.
