I bought these for my active home theatre speakers, where I needed a longer power lead than the one supplied by the manufacturer. The 5-metre length gave me far more flexibility when positioning the speakers without having to rearrange power sockets or use extension leads. It made it much easier to keep the installation neat and place the speakers exactly where they needed to be. I also like the right-angle Figure 8 connector. It sits much closer to the back of the speaker than a straight connector, which is particularly useful when equipment is positioned close to a wall or inside an AV cabinet. It keeps the cable run much tidier and reduces the amount of cable sticking out from the rear. The cable feels well made, the connectors fit securely at both ends, and it's been completely reliable since installation. Once connected, it's simply become part of the system and I've never had to think about it again. There's not much more you can ask from a power lead. If you need a longer Figure 8 cable for active speakers, TVs or other AV equipment, this is a well-made option that does exactly what it's supposed to do.

It's not a deal-breaker by any means, but it's something to be aware of if you're working in a really tight, confined space. ​Overall, it's a fantastic, high-quality cable that gets the job done perfectly.
