I have been searching for a sauce to add to the sushi I get at the local store. Yumyum sauce was no problem, but, I was at a loss for the brown sauce. My husband asked one of the men who was making sushi, and my husband was told "Chinese Brown Sauce". I looked and looked, ordered a couple, but never found the right stuff. Lately, I was at the store and asked the man and he said "sushi sauce". Just that. He was pouring some into a small container for me and I saw on the bottle "Sushi Sauce". So I came home and searched. I found this one and ordered it. YES!! I received this and tried it and it is what I have been looking for! Sweet and savory, just as the name says!!!! I am thrilled!!!

This is the best. I can't find anything comparable in stores. Tastes just like the sauce sushi restaurants use. Love it. Its easy to use. Highly recommend.

This is a gluten free product that is above and beyond what I expected it to be, in flavor, texture, and overall sweet and sour tastes are mere perfection. I didn't read the ingredients but I did feel it was a great value for the money spent (and I am careful what I put in my fridge because I am the only one cooking it and eating it, and I am a demanding customer! lol) I use it on my sushi and Asian meals which it works excellent in and on. I drizzle it on my sushi rolls and it is the perfect final touch with that authenticity and flavor that leaves you wanting just another bit more of it. And it has no aftertaste!

Update: I still love this sauce but I can't seem to be able to get it delivered! The seller - Kyng (Retail, LLC, I think) - has "lost" 2 orders of this. I've just placed a 3rd replacement order, so I'm crossing my fingers I actually get it this time! There's no place else this is available for me, unless I want to pay $20/bottle at big-box, retail chain store "W." If I had known this was going to be so hard to continue to get, I'd have never tried it. DO NOT USE the seller KYNG. I'm hesitant to call this 'unagi' sauce, simply because it's not as sweet as a lot of traditional eel sauces you find. This, to me, is a fishy soy sauce with the ever-so-slightest bit of sweet. I like both, but I feel this goes on more things because the sugar is dialed back. I've been putting it on everything (not even on sushi, yet) and there's not been a single thing I tried it on that wasn't yummy. (A lot of what I've been putting it on is vegan or vegetarian, and this flavor just goes with veggies!) My current obsession is a quinoa salad I then put over a kale salad and top it with this - 3 days in a row, lunch and dinner. I just repurchased 2 more bottles and will continue to buy it as long as I can find it, I'm absolutely in love!
