Just passed my test in my own car using these, they held up in various conditions across 6 weeks of use - and were rock solid and never came off. The suction was extremely strong. I did 70 mph in high winds and heavy rain numerous times and they clung on without issue. Well worth the extra money, as magnetic ones didn't work on my Peugeot, and I didn't want to always use sticky tape when I was driving.

i really didn't read the description properly, although the product is great, you only get one plate, which i think is a bit pricy for one, but sticks well and has not faded

I was told that I could not use L-plates on my windscreen and rear window for the test. The car body is unsuitable for magnetic plates. Self-adhesive ones damaged the paintwork on a friend's car and also I am not confident they would withstand the repeated washing necessary at this time of year living in a rural area. I was trying to think of a way of attaching them via the number plate bolts and I found these spring clip brackets. They are excellent. They were easy to fit. The car bodywork protrudes above the rear number plate so I had to turn the bracket upside-down as in the instructions. I don't think they would work if the number plate was deeply recessed both top and bottom but the L-plates are slightly flexible so a shallow recess would probably be manageable. The front was straightforward to fit, the only problem is that the L-plate triggers one of the parking sensors, so I have to turn them off while the plates are fitted. All-in-all and excellent solution to my problem.

Suckers worked well and have yet to fall off. Apply in dry conditions tho.

Installed easy with 2 zip ties in 10 seconds. Hopefully this one won’t fall off. It is a more solid L plate than my last one which fell off at some point while I was doing 60mph on an A road.

rigid plastic, snaps when brushed against. Do people actually test this rubbish before selling it ?
