So cool and easy!
This thing is so cool! I am not a huge pancake person or anything, but I buy seasonal fun mixes on occasion and we'll have pancakes for dinner. I usually make the whole box at once and freeze the extra because it is such a chore making them. I have a standalone stove in a small 1950 kitchen and it's just really painfully miserable making pancakes. But this thing - wow! I can drop the amt I want in the bottle, shake it up, and squirt it into the pan. East to prep, easy to (hand) wash, easy to use. It did leak a little as pressure built up but I will take that over dripping globs of goo everywhere in my kitchen and fighting trying to find places to set giant batter bowls and mountains of pancakes. I wonder if you could even prep some in advance and leave it in the fridge for on demand pancakes? To be determined...

Makes consistent pancakes so much easier
I got this for making mini pancakes, and it makes everything SO much easier for pancakes of all sizes! Pros: * I was able to make much more consistent pancake sizes, and it made mini pancakes very easy without over or under doing the batter. * I liked the shaker for mixing the batter, although I noticed when cleaning it out, that a bunch of pancake powder got stuck in the crevice near the small lid. I think that is probably my technique. * Color * Easy clean - most of it got clean simply from adding dish soap and hot water, then shaking well. The nozzle end did need a little extra attention bc of the aforementioned stuck mix. Top and bottom unscrew so no need for bottle brushes. Haven't tried dishwasher. Downsides: *only fits about 1-1.5 batches of batter in it, so if you need to make a lot of pancakes, you will have to make multiple batches. * The nozzle is one size - not a twist opening where you can control how much comes out.

Easy pouring batter gadget
Love the size, easy to hold and pour batter. Very convenient. Only recommendation is to prepare mixing on a bowl and transfer to the bottle for pouring or saving in the refrigerator for next day use as the shaker may not be consistently smoothing the batter and some lumps may remain. I found this a very small trouble as I usually prepare in advance. Easy to clean. No mess during pouring batter. I love it. Recommended

Itโs ok
It gets the job done, the cleaning was easy. It mixes the batter pretty well, takes a bit of force with bigger batches but ultimately does work. After a while it created a weird smell, no mater how well I cleaned it. I like how the cap and bottom serves as a station where I can make sure the bottle doesnโt fall over as I put the water and powder inside through the bottom.

Game Changer!
Letโs start by saying I am not a morning person. I wish I was. I have tried to become one many times and have failed miserably. At this point in my life, I will choose to embrace this fact about myself and find it charming. What does this have to do with the Wiskware Pancake Batter Bottle you might ask? Well, in the past when I have endeavored to make myself into a morning person, Iโve also included making a large breakfast for adult kids, grands, friends, etc.- think holidays. You might be thinking Christmas, but my kitchen looked like something from a horror movie during Halloween! Batter covered every surface. Pancakes were burnt and I think possibly used as frisbees at one point. The floor became slippery and the whole dining area could have been a skating rink, but not in a good way. Then comes the purchase of this nifty little batter bottle with a wire wisk ball. GAME CHANGER! I can now make the batter the day before when I am actually at a good batter making place and keep it in the fridge until ready to use. Then, I donโt need to get up so early because all I need to do is heat up the griddle and plop them on and grill. Easy! My kitchen doesnโt look like a war zone and my pancakes taste amazing! This thing is easy to use and easy to clean. It really takes the work and the mess out of a big family breakfast. If you make pancakes and are not a morning person, or even if you are ๐, get one of these right away!

Impressive and versatile
I'm really quite impressed with this pancake bottle, especially since I didn't have the highest hopes for it. The build quality is quite good, especially for the heavy-duty blender ball. Using it is extremely easy. You just untwist the body and place it upside-down on the base, pour in your ingredients, and then twist the body back into place and shake. The bottle has cup measurements printed on it which is great, you can really do everything in it without needing any other dishes. You don't even have to shake much to get the ingredients combined, and I was especially surprised with how well it did with thicker batters. I love how you can make a good amount of pancake batter and just leave the bottle in the fridge. Then the next day you only have to give it a quick shake to re-incorporate everything. It all works so smoothly and seamlessly. One of the main reasons I bought this thing was because I wanted to use it to make cold foam for coffee. I sometimes make a small amount of cold foam with a little hand whisk, or if I want a large amount for whatever reason I'll pull out my blender. This bottle is perfect for prepping enough cold foam to last between a few days and a week. Like with the pancake batter, you do have re-shake it for a few seconds each time you use it. But making it with this is so easy, and the nozzle dispenses the foam nicely. As long as you're not mixing up something super thick like cookie dough, there's a lot you can do with this thing. Cleaning it is super easy especially if you have a dishwasher. Every piece holds up in the dishwasher perfectly, there are no weird nooks/crannies for gross gunk to accumulate from what I can tell. But even without a dishwasher, you can clean it easily by filling it with warm soapy water and giving it a shake. Doing that is more than enough to get it like 90% clean. Then you can just give it a quick scrub with a bottle brush to finish it off. I only have one minor criticism, and that's regarding the shape of the bottle. The base is a good bit wider than the narrow middle section, which makes it somewhat difficult to visualize how much batter you have left at a certain point. The base of the bottle holds a deceptively-large amount of batter compared to the rest. It's not a big deal and it's fairly easy to get used to but it's something that did throw me off the first couple of times. Overall I love this product and it's one of my favorite purchases of the year. It's just so well-designed and functional. Also I want to give additional props to Whiskware - they sell all the individual parts on the website, so if anything does get damaged you don't have to throw the entire thing away. I appreciate any company that does that kind of thing, especially for a product like this that's on the smaller/cheaper side.

Cool concept, but hard for me to use
I love the idea of this, but it didnโt work well with smaller batches & thicker recipes. Probably better suited to larger, thinner recipes. The container is very well-made, but itโs hard to squeeze out the batter when making fewer servings. It was also very hard to mix/shake up the ingredients in the container. And I lost a lot of batter bc it stuck to the sides. However, clean up was super-easy. This is probably a great tool for someone making a lot of food, but not so much for just 1-2 servings.

I love this bottle
I was a bit surprised when I saw it in person, it is so big! At the same time, it is very comfortable to use even with small amounts of batter. I usually make about a cup of batter for 4-6 pancakes, big crepes, or waffles and I still use this dispenser. I weighed it before and after use and the remains of the unused batter inside (stuck on the walls leftovers, etc.) are only 28-30 g, which is about 2 Tbsp of batter, not much, really. I do not use the ball for mixing the batter in, so I cannot comment on that. I mix the batter in a bowl that stands on a kitchen scale and then transfer it to the bottle. The usefulness of this dispenser for me is in its ability to dispense thick and thin batters very evenly, a comfortable grip, large size, easy cleaning, not in its steel ball that mixes the batter and then keeps it smooth and remixed after storage.
