Almost perfect
This device is perfect for what describes but it didn’t meet all my specific requirements. I need this to connect to my laptop through Host 1 and I was hopping to connect my desktop Host 2 but it turns out that if you only use Host 2 with a single cable only HDMI 2 works and no other port :(It’s s kind of misleading the name host 1 and host 2 as they are not exactly the same, but it is what it is. I ended up switching 2 cables on host 1 to make it work for me. Other than this it works like a charm. I used it interchangeably with MacBook Pro and Asus gaming laptop and deliver power to both of them, and I use a single screen out of this device, additionally I connect mouse, keyboard and one more hub connected to it with all my audio gear and everything works as intended. In general is a good Docking station if you have a less cluttered/complicated setup this should work fine.

This could have been perfect! Brilliant Customer Service, however :)
This product seems to have everything I need - however...(I do recommend this product, as a port extender - but, it lacks any high power output, and some ports are insufficient quality).I thought I would be able to get fast charging out of this product, or some kind of higher power output - to power my haptic headphones, to save them from cutting out (I soon found out, after purchasing, that my laptop has one, anyway) -Then, there's the actual issues I've had with the device;I cannot plug my VR into the hdmi, and usb of this device - as it detects a corrupted port.I often plug my phone charger into it, to provide some more juice, as it can turn off from having a HDD, mouse and keyboard plugged into it.The connector to my laptop only works on one of the two intended connection points.Using the 2 hdmi ports to my 200hz monitor produces 180hz (as expected with HDMI), but there are what looks like sun spots - like when you stare at the sun, or do loads of exercise, and see loads of little light blobs racing around (but, subtler than that, of course). The display port produces 120hz (Although, that is what's supposed to unlock the full 200hz, of monitor).Generally, it has given me a bit more organisation around my desk - and it looks great! It's lightweight, and provides me with more usb ports. But, I spent £100 on basically 4 more usb ports, an extra ethernet port, and a usb-c port.Writing this, I feel ripped off!!When I was shopping for something like this.It did seem like the best project.Oh well.I would recommend this product if you require some extra ports, and aren't to bothered about the quality of their outputs. Also, if you want these features on probably one of the most stylish options at £100.But, I struggle to understand, fully, as to why I still have it *face palm*Edit: Since posting - I was quickly messaged about receiving compensation for the troubles I experienced with the device.I have awareded an extra star for Aitek's brilliant customer service.Very happy - and I will be looking out for their brand!

You will need to download a driver!
I was about to return this, having only been able to drive one additional display from my M2 MacBook Air. Then I read the instructions 😬. On my Mac the InstantView driver did NOT appear in a folder on my desktop or anywhere else. Once downloaded and installed, everything works fine. This info is available on the Amazon page but not in the printed instructions that come with the device.I'm not using 4K monitors so cannot talk to that end of graphic performance, but for cheap and cheerful 1920x1080 monitors all is good.

It DOES NOT WORK!
This item does NOT do what it advertises. I have a 2020 M1 MacBook Pro (from work, coz you wouldn't catch me dead uing a mac otherwise), and yes, they are finnicky and idiotically backwards in their hardware limitation to only one external monitor. Apple HAS to find "creative" ways to force people to buy new laptops, right?Anyway, this item says it will help extend an M1 MacBook Pro to two monitors or more. It doesn't. Connecting this device to the laptop with the dual USB-C cable that's provided, and connecting two external monitors to the dick via 2 hdmi cables, or one hdmi cable and a displayport cable, I get the same situation I have when I just use two run of the mill USB-C-to-HMDI cables (without this Dock) and I try to get my M1 to extend to more than one external monitor. Here is what happens: both the Dock and the vanilla solution can handle one monitor. When I connect a second monitor, the second monitor is never detected. I keep the second monitor connected and disconnected the first monitor (the one that was detected/handled fine). Now that the first monitor is disconnected, the second monitor suddenly comes to life. This tells me nothing is wrong with my cables/monitors. This also tells me that using this dock I am dealing with the exact same "only one buffer in the M1 chip" idiotic issue you read about when you google "Why is my M1 laptop only able to detect one external monitor"?The very reason I bought this Dock was because I am aware it is possible to indeed connect two external monitors to this M1 MacBook Pro, as I have done it with a cheaper (like a fifth of the price) Dock and a USB-C-to-HDMi cable. Problem was that cheap Dock wasn't charging my laptop, so I had to make the frustrating choice of either connecting both monitors and not charge or one monitor + a power cable.I thought this Dock, which says it is able to charge the laptop on top of providing dual monitor functionality, would be perfect.I was wrong. This Dock charges the laptop but never was able to detect the second monitor. As an alternative to this dock that's not song what it says it does, I used my old cheap Dock, to handle one monitor, and I connected a usb-c splitter with a usb-c on one end and a usb-C + female hdmi on the other. With this rather convoluted setup, the laptop is charged, and I can attach two external non-duplicated monitors (doesn't matter what they are, 27 inch, or bigger 4K monitors, that's not the point, and yes, I tested it). There is nothing this £100 Dock adds to the old cheap Dock I already have, if it cannot handle two monitors like it promises it does. Not recommended..
