4k lens great looking camera ๐ธ
Excellent security camera with very clear video quality. The wide view and bright floodlight cover a large area around the house. Setup with PoE was straightforward and the mobile app works well.

Pretty amazing product
Reolink has come a long way in the quality and usefulness of it's products. Over the years, they've made significant improvements to their products, and have introduced some amazing cameras and other accessories. I recommend and install Reolink for my customers who want a good camera and value for their money. For their older products, customer support has always been very helpful and has never declined to send a warranty replacement fast and free. However, I have not had to contact customer service with any issues for multiple years now, which is why I'm writing to compliment improved durability of their products. It should not go unnoticed. The security of their cameras, including doorbell cameras, are great. Smart detection has always worked really well and has only improved. Reolink has great compatibility with Google Home, Home Assistant, etc. Connectivity has always been great as long as you have a decent network. This isn't a paid review by any means. Amazon prompted me to review my past years purchases and I've placed bad reviews where they belong on products and good reviews as well. This is one of the good reviews for sure. The Floodlight camera is one of my favorite Reolink cameras. The light is bright, it's customizable, it still comes with all of the smart features and gets a full 180 degree view, and works great day or night. Would I enjoy this review getting noticed by Reolink and getting some appreciation back? Sure! But only because I really like these cameras.

Needs 20+ watts on PoE, great picture quality
First off, you need an 802.3at (PoE++) switch to run the camera and floodlight. None of my Unifi switches would put out enough juice, so I had to get a separate power injector. Both image and video quality are fantastic, and it couples well to the reolink NVR. It can also stream to Unifi (or other DVR systems) using onvif. Installation was pretty easy. Note that the hanging bracket is a snug fit, so you might need to massage it into place just a little. I haven't quite figured out the alarm settings yet, but the IR, daylight and floodlight picture quality are all exceptional. If, like me, you're hooking this into a reolink NVR which is on your network, but you're not connecting it directly be warned: You will have to configure the IP stream using a mouse and a monitor directly connected to the NVR. The reolink phone app is free, and pretty effective. No subscription fee is required, and you'll be able to view your cameras remotely. I have not tested recording to sdcard. I replaced a regular motion sensing floodlight with this unit, and while the floodlight isn't quite as bright, the IR is so good I really don't care.

Great camera!
This camera sure beats running 2 wires and installing 2 different cameras. The dual-lens made it easy for me. The spotlight is extremely bright on its highest setting and can be adjusted to a lower brightness level if needed. You can even set the floodlights to smart, timed and night only modes which is pretty neat. The footage is crystal clear and the stitching to bring both lenses together is darn near perfect! This camera was my longest wire run and I haven't had any signal drops at all (only been a few hours since the install lol). The sound is clear and loud enough as well. My only complaint is the mount. The clip and security rope is a nice feature, but the entire back portion is open if you're mounting on vinyl siding.

Great camera for the outside of your house, better night time video recording
Great camera for the outside of your house, better night time video recording. The original 180ยฐ camera has a really impressive view, adding flood lighting makes it even better. 1) Night time recordings are in full daytime color (not the green / black IR night mode). The other camera's night vision is great for identifying license plates but not people's faces. This camera with the flood lights makes that easy because when the flood lights are on the camera doesn't need to use IR for night time 2) The flood lights have 3 operating modes - #1 - Motion detection (this might be good, but also might drive your neighbors crazy seeing it flashing off and on, - #2 - Schedule the lights this works great in some places where night time and day time have a rather steady time when it goes bright and dark - #3 - My favorite - Dusk to Dawn. no off and on motion detect, no light coming on and the wrong time because of the schedule, just when it gets dark it turns on and turns off when it gets bright 3) Some installation tips for the camera outside, if you are using a male crimp connector then you shouldn't have any problem connection right into the back of the camera and mounting. However if you are terminating the wire with a network jack and using a patch cord (which is the way i prefer to do it) i would make a suggestion of getting and Single-Gang outdoors rated box (the Grey ones from home depot) and a Grey front cover. Punch out the knock out on the bottom of the box then mount to the outside of the house/building. Bring your network wire inside the box with the patch cord and punch down the network jack. Make the connection inside the box and keep the network jack and patch cord inside the box, screw the lid on tight and then connect the other end of the patch cord into the back of the camera. You cannot leave a network jack and patch cord junction exposed to the outdoor weather especially rain because it will short the Brown (POE Power wire) to protect the NVR from damage, electrical and duct tape do not make a perfect seal. The only thing that will work is if you use Outdoor Rated shrink tubing (but once you do that it will be a pain to get it off). 4) In regards to the lights, they are dimmable from 400-900 lumens (Each head, yes it says 1,800 lumens in 2 - 900 lumen light heads). This is handy if you have a neighbor complaining about them being to bright. Just try not to go lower then 600 lumens if you can, the lower the lumens setting the less the camera will see at night

Design fell out of the 1990s
I wish this camera / light combo had some redeeming qualities, but itโs issues far outweigh its pluses. First of all, itโs huge - it reminds me of the motion flood lights on homes 30 years ago. If youโre looking for something which can be functional but not an eye sore and blends in, this isnโt it. Before purchasing I read a review which said the camera and lights were upside down when assembled and I thought it was just someone who didnโt read the directions or misassembled the unit. But in fact, the bracket is so poorly designed that if you try to install it any position other than wall mounted above the door then it ranges from being difficult to impossible to mount. Unlike most cameras which have several screw holes to mount the camera, this uses a hanging bracket where gravity is responsible for holding on the light and then is also secured with a single screw. The lights donโt pivot fully so itโs difficult to get them out of the view of the camera if the camera or lights need to be angled. I tried to mount the camera under my roof eves but to get the camera in the needed angle, given how it pivots, then the mounting bracket would have needed to be mounted upside down and against gravity. Although the camera comes with mounting holes on both the top and bottom to allow it to be reversed, the rest of the metal bracketโs range of motion doesnโt make that very feasible. If youโre able to get it mounted, I found the image quality poor. The cameraโs attempts to stitch together the left and right lens into a single image is full of short comings. The brightness of both images was often different resulting in half of the image being more washed out. The seam in the middle of the image often didnโt align, even after using the fine tuning controls, due to things at different distances falling into a different place in the opposing angles of the cameraโs view. This resulted in a fun house mirror effect in the middle of the image - at times things were duplicated when seen by both cameras at different angles and other times things would simply disappear when they reached the center line of the video. It was really trippy to see my hand missing fingers or having fingers duplicated on the screen as they passed between the view of the left and right cameras. Overall, Iโd recommend saving the headaches and buying a single camera with a built in light or buying two different cameras vs trying to rely on this camera to poorly stitch its two camera angles together.

Excellent 4K security camera with huge field of view
I installed the REOLINK Duo Floodlight PoE camera as part of my home security setup and it has been extremely impressive so far. The dual-lens design provides a full 180ยฐ field of view, which covers a much larger area than a typical single-lens camera. This makes it perfect for monitoring wide spaces like driveways, yards, or the side of a house without needing multiple cameras. The 4K video quality is very clear and detailed, making it easy to identify people, vehicles, and activity around the property. The floodlight is also very bright at 1800 lumens and does a great job lighting up the area when motion is detected. This adds both security and visibility at night. Since this camera runs on PoE, installation is clean and reliable with just a single Ethernet cable handling both power and data. Once connected, the camera integrated easily into the network and the app made setup simple. The smart detection features for humans, vehicles, and pets work well and help reduce false alerts compared to basic motion detection cameras. The camera housing feels solid and well built, and the waterproof design gives confidence that it will hold up well outdoors in different weather conditions. Overall it feels like a very capable and well designed security camera. Pros - Dual-lens design provides a full 180ยฐ ultra-wide view - Very clear 4K video quality - Bright 1800 lumen floodlight for nighttime visibility - Reliable PoE connection with a single Ethernet cable - Smart detection for people, vehicles, and pets - Two-way audio communication - Durable weatherproof construction - Excellent value for the features included - Very little latency when streaming live video locally or through the app - Broad compatibility with Reolink NVRs, ONVIF-compatible NVRs, NAS storage, and smart home platforms Cons - Requires running an Ethernet cable for PoE installation Overall If you need a wide-coverage outdoor security camera with excellent video quality and built-in lighting, the REOLINK Duo Floodlight PoE is a great option. The 180ยฐ field of view, smart detection features, and bright floodlight make it a strong choice for home security setups.

Reolink is the most consumer friendly brand
Iโve done the research and reolink is secretly an industry leader. Nothing is blocked behind a paywall or cloud service but itโs there if you want it The nvr and its web portal work completely normally with no internet connection The Reolink app for your phone has most of its functionality when youโre on the same same isolated lan Outstanding rtsp, onvif support and even has integration with home assist. These cameras in particular are shockingly bright for being just PoE and have held up for years now.

Easy install, reliable, attractive.
Very easy to install - instructions provided in the box were clear and concise. Great to have a template for installing screws as well. Power over ethernet has been a real win - a little more finicky to run cables through the roof but feel much more reliable than any wifi camera previously owned. Looks nice outside; a little smaller than expected which keeps it looking minimal but present enough to act as a deterrent. The light given off by floodlights is bright and a pleasing warmth, not too warm, not too cool. App is easy to use for remote viewing and turning floodlight on and off. Have one for the front and one for the back and they're working great. Would recommend to anyone looking to upgrade security for their home.

Ultra Wide, good resolution, great security light
I bought this camera to find out who has been dumping the shopping trolley infront of the house. With this camera, the trolley dumper has stopped dumping the trolley infront of the house, but instead dumping the trolley a house up. The ultra ultra wide camera missed the event, to be fair it was really far wide and the culprit escaped detection. otherwise really happy with the resolution, wish it was alittle faster in detecting.
