Nice looking and rugged winch. Attached to an aftermarket bumper on my jeep wrangler. Feels as good as the Badlands winch at HF for a couple hundred less. After 15 years of modest wheeling, I have only ever used a winch a few times, mostly to move trees and rocks, and to "unstuck" others. I hope I never need to use this thing, but glad to have it.... like a fire extinguisher.

Synthetic rope melts to itself in winch when close to maximum pulling capacity. Maybe when the load you are pulling are more than 10k lbs, need to switch to steel cable? Wish the remote had a charger or replacement batteries besides having to plug into the winch in the bumper. Great winch otherwise. Remote distance is great!

Went in without a fight. I was expecting the wiring to be the headache — it wasn't, everything was straightforward and I had it hooked up without needing to hunt down a forum thread. Solid piece of equipment for the money.

This 12,000 lbs wench is great! The installation was pretty much straight forward. Match bolt holes for my bumper and was very easy to install. The wiring harness is well marked but the little rubber boot connector are a bit of a fight to get seated correctly. But after some effort went together very well. As well the wiring harness come out of wench in the correct direction toward battery. The relay box is kind of large I made a bracket and worked great. One of the best features is the remote control that you can also wire to winch or remote control and when wired it charges the remotes batteries. It looks durable and was a good price. The wrench is pretty heavy and look very durable.

This my second winch purchase. It looks great, it works as I expected. I don’t plan on using it often but will work when I need it most

Pretty happy with this winch. For the price you can't beat it. Added it to a 2001 TJ and liked it so much a friend bought the same one.

Used this off roading many times, surprisingly very good and the wireless remote is great. I recently I had to pull the full weight of the 4WD up a steep icy hill, and it was over 30 minutes of winching and it did it like champ! So I’m happy with the purchase! Only thing is - all the screws started showing some rust after a couple months of having it mounted on the car.
