Glass jug 1.5L

The perfect water jug for me. This hold my 24hr water requirement. It's simple lines make it easy to clean. It looks great. The clever lid makes pouring a breeze, it also prevents anything getting into the water. It has a firm seal. Great fit for my fridge. I love it.

I absolutely love this jug. I Wasn't to save on the placement of the handle and I was convinced it Would have a horrid spout, I was wrong on both counts. It is slim and very sleek looking and fits on the door shelf of my fridge beautifully, and isn't heavy when filled with water, and most importantly it pours cleanly with no drips or drizzles. The only negative I have I wish it were a little taller but that's just me being picky.

I'm sure the jug itself will be fine but as soon as I picked up the package I could hear that it was all smashed inside the box. Fortunately Amazon have offered a refund so I'll try ordering it again but I'm not confident the next one won't also be broken as the glass seems to be quite thin.Update: 2nd one arrived intact. It's a really nice jug and fits perfectly in our fridge door. But I would still say that the glass is on the thin side and does feel a little fragile. I can imagine it breaking if it catches on the tap or something. Considering the description says it's made of thick glass I wouldn't agree (this is the 2L version, maybe the others are thicker). But a nice jug and hopefully it won't break.

Being concerned about the dangers of microplastic pollution, I have decided to replace all my plastic liquid storage vessels with glass. I usually store my milk in the plasic container that it is sold with. Any replacement container had to fit in the door of the fridge. My first purchase was the Goldbearuk Square glass pitcher. At first this seemed to fit the bill but eventually failed because the fluted sides made it almost impossible to clean. With milk you have to be careful to sterilise the glass and even with repeated washing there was stll an odour of sour milk.The Yirilan Jug was perfect replacement. The smooth heatproof glass makes it easy to sterilise with boiling water and the milk is kept fresh even beyond the use by date. The only slight problem was with the stainless steel lid. It has a silicone rubber sealing ring which makes the lid quite difficult to remove and replace. I solved the drawback by removing the rubber ring. I will heartily recommend this jug for anyone worried about microplastic pollution.

I don’t usually leave Amazon reviews, but this jug has become a permanent feature in our fridge and we all drink more tap water as a result. It fits perfectly into the fridge door but is still large enough for us not to have to constantly refill it. The lid has a nice feature of either a large hole or a filtered hole so if you wanted to make fancy cucumber water or something similar or have ice in the jug it wouldn’t all come pouring out. It’s attractive too so looks nice on the table. And it feels quality. It’s not cheap, but I do feel it’s worth it. Would recommend.

It’s fine, good size all round, fits in the fridge door nicely, but doesn’t pour very cleanly. Tends to spill.

I keep this with water in, in my fridge. Not too bulky like other jugs. Looks really nice, I enjoy using it.

Muy buena calidad, entra genial en la puerta de la nevera y tiene un muy buen tamaño, la tapa puede regularse para salida de agua normal o con filtro para que no pasen frutas o lo que queramos ponerle dentro , es ideal para los que huimos del agua embotellada de plástico y usamos ósmosis.

Muy buena jarra. Bonita, buen tamaño y práctica. No la he usado para calentar agua, solo para agua fría o al tiempo. Excelente compra, idéntica a la foto!
