I purchased this as a prop for a 50’s themed wedding reception. When it arrived, I was impressed by the quality. It is sturdy, snaps open quickly and has a solid sound when doing so. It is far superior to the cheap plastic ones and the cost wasn’t excessive. Not sure I would actually comb my hair with it but, all in all, I am pleased with this switch blade comb.

You probably looked at this and remembered the switchblade comb toys, and you probably also remembered that most of them are really cheap trash with a terrible comb. THIS, though, is made with a metal comb and solid hardware. Everyone who saw this was really impressed with the build quality. I bought 7 more for Christmas presents.

I brought this for my mustache and the teeth are alittle to far apart for that unfortunately. but other than that it's a beautiful solid comb worth the money

Hopefully I did the great and legendary Fonz justice. Admittedly I totally wanted a comb like this as a kid. I mean who wouldn't want to whip out what looks like a knife only to reveal it's a comb in disguise. Fair warning though. My opinion after handling it myself, repeatedly trying it, and watching how it works this is NOT something I would say is suitable for a child to have and to play with. Reason being is it has a lot of weight to it and the spring mechanism is tight and strong which causes the comb to pop out forcefully. The comb is metal btw not plastic. Quite possibly it could cause an accident or injury. I'll leave it to you to decide but it was just my honest observation seeing it in action holding it. It does have a safety switch at the top end to slide over to prevent it from opening by itself.It does have a cool factor to it no doubt about that and I'm amused to no end now owning one. I'll just to try and refrain with the "Aaaaaay's" every time I push the button and the comb pops out lol.

I loved the latching and unlatching mechanism but it didn’t function well as a comb and would rip out my hair when id try use it
