Doesn't connect receipt thermal paper.
As far as I can tell it doesn't function, drivers are installed, but no matter what I do it won't work with my thermal receipt printer.

Easy way to add a parallel/printer port to a desktop PC
I installed this card into my desktop server to use with my 2000s LaserJet printer. I misplaced the driver disc, but I was able to get it working by using the generic AX99100 driver from the ASIX website (the chipset this card uses). After installing the driver, the card was recognized and it was as simple as installing the printer driver and connecting the cable. Note that parallel devices aren't hot pluggable and you need to restart the machine after plugging in a device, for it to be recognized.I'm able to print to my old parallel printer from a modern machine now with minimal setup effort. Overall a good way to add a parallel port to a PCIe capable desktop.

Adds a Parallel Port to Newer PCs
It does what it is supposed to do. I picked this card up because I have an old HP Colorado T1000e Tape Drive that I wanted to get some old files from but none of my systems have a parallel port anymore.Windows 11 saw the card and installed drivers right away with no fuss. I can see the COM port it is using and configure it as expected.Sadly, I couldn't get the T1000e to work. No drivers for anything more modern than Windows XP and I couldn't get this parallel card to pass through into a Virtual Machine. I do not think that is an issue with the card, however, just a limitation with the VM software and old Windows installs.
