lakeland Hard Floor & Tile Manual Spray Mop Cleaner

This is a perfect lightweight mop. I have used it on my laminate floor as well as my bathroom tiles. The container can be filled with any cleaner you want. I personally make my own with vinegar, water, and some essential oils to make it smell nice. A lot of store bought cleaners are sugar based and can leave your floor sticky. Anyway, the sprayer works easily and once wet the mop just glides making this a now really easy task every week. The pad is just velcroed on and removes easily to wash. I treat it like a towel and don't use fabric softener and then I just hang it to dry (which it does quickly) so as not to distort the shape and hopefully make it last a long time before I need a replacement. **One thing worth noting, when you put the bottle in after filling it you have to make sure it is pressed all the way in or you will lose pressure and it won't spray. I find just giving it an extra push down when this happens fixes the "problem."

A life changing mop😀 it's easy to assemble, light and it rotates allowing me to clean awkward angles and spaces under furniture. The spray function is ergonomic and it sprays a line of water on the floor that matches the width of the cloth which is convenient as I don't have to spray a lot which keeps the floors damp rather than soaking wet. I have wooded floors and I cleaned them today with a HG floor cleaning polish. Awesome results! I can see, however, why people have been commenting on the spray getting blocked. I left the liquid container in the mop for a night and the spray was slightly blocked this morning; I fixed it quickly by removing the container and wiping the nozzle. I have used it 2 so far so fingers crossed it stays the way it is.

Have been after a good quality floor mop for a while and settled on this one. Very pleased with it easy to use and minimal effort keeps the kitchen and launderette floors looking like new. Light to use and head easily gets into all the awkward places.

Just unpacked it today and instantly used it. No fuss, was soo easy to use. I had a steamer but that broke and couldnt justify spending another £60 to buy one so resorted to a "posh" mop instead. What can i say, it cleans just as well as a steam mop and is easier to use. Just add solution in the container, pop it back in and off you go. Havent washed the cloth yet as only just used it but cloth looks like it will wash well too. Love that the mop head swivels too to get into awkward corners. Definutely worth a buy if youre thinking about it! Easy to replace the cloth as i can imagine they sell it in Lakeland stores

Over the years I've used variations of this on a laminate floor that gets a lot of hammer in a kitchen where grass is a constant feature on the floor. First ever one provided when the first lot of laminate was installed, was like a stick and had a habit of turning over to the wrong side, subsequent ones with a better bottom didn't seem to do the job. I liked the fact that I didn't have to hold a spray bottle in my hand for a start. The floor was particularly bad, not done for weeks but with laminate it always seems to look okay regardless with the assistance of the stick cleaner. I've not examined the mop bottom itself properly but it certainly seems to have made a better job than its predecessors. So providing it doesn't decide to fall apart in the future, I am highly delighted.

Wow...So much easier to clean than using a mop and a bucket. I have used swiffer jet before and this is way better than swiffer jet. The spray is slightly higher than swiffer and hence has a better coverage. More economic than swiffer too as you can wash and reuse the microfibre. It is easy to remove and attach the microfibre cloth. Just peel off the velcro and wash,dry and just press it back. The Swivel action is great. Our floor is much cleaner than before as it gets mopped regularly now.

As others have said, this is a great mop. It's light and easy to use. The head goes into corners and under furniture easily, I have two of them (one in our main house and one in a holiday cottage) and use them for solid wood, engineered wood and llaminate floors; quarry tiles, ceramic tiles and slate tiles. I just have one little gripe (hope you are listening Lakeland). I use a different cleaner for the wood floors than the other hard floors, It would be great to have a spare canister so that I dont have to keep changing the cleaning liquid - I could just swap bottles as I work round the house. Ideal would be different coloured bottles so I know which is which.

Yes, good on my tiles and even my parquet floor. It's handy and easy to use. If it came with an additional cloth head, it would be even better. At first I would remove the cloth head for washing, forgetting that the fluid bottle was still attached (it falls out when turned upsidedown) endangering the life of the fluid bottle, and having a slight fluid spillage. Now I make sure that I detach the fluid bottle first, and all is well.. I really do like this mop, and recommend it.
