Dog Bowl Stand for Mid-Large Dogs | Adjustable, Bamboo, 12-inch High

Item arrived on time and well packaged. My vet suggested I get a riser for our older dog as she has arthritis in her neck. I already had risers for all the food bowls, so that was helpful. We came across this bamboo riser which fit perfectly with our food bowl risers and the design our current water system. A bonus all around. I was worried about the sturdiness holding the water bowl but so far no problems. My son set it up within a few minutes, everything needed was included, screws and little wrench. It is adjustable as stated. All in all, it’s helpful for my old gal, 55lb cattle dog and the other two dogs have no problem using it either and one being a mini pin and other is a French Brittany. I’m happy with the quality and appearance and would recommend as well.

Whew. It took a lot of research to get just the right dog bowl stand. Housemate and I went a couple rounds (friendly rounds) over how tall the stand should be, which material we wanted, and which model we thought was of better quality. The biggest worry was: Would our dog's antique stoneware dog dish fit the stand and vice-versa. We finally settled on this one ------- And it is PERFECT. Nice how it blends in with its surroundings. The bamboo is a great look. The stand is sturdy and it took me only a few minutes to put it together. There are no detailed instructions, as such, but the assembly of the stand is pretty basic. The fact that where the bowl sits is adjustable is a great feature. You never know when you may want to change things up and try a different-sized dog bowl. Dog had zero problem adjusting to this new method of feeding. He went right for it. Just to clarify ---- our dog is a 55-lb Border collie/Brittany mix. The stand height for him is just right.

I read many reviews and most reviews about this stand were very good. Some people said they had parts missing, but in my case everything was included and I easily put together the stand in about 10 minutes. Both sets of legs on opposite corners can slide out so that really large bowls can be accommodated. It's a smart design and sturdy. Also, the bamboo is smoothly finished with no splintering. The stand was well packaged and arrived sooner than expected. I highly recommend this stand and this seller! Additional Review: It's been over a year and my Pup still enjoys eating without having to bend low. It now has 2 cracks but that's because my husband found out the hard way that when a leg loosened and slipped that it should have been slid back into place and then tightened. Plus it should be noted to be careful not to over tighten. It's a hollow slot, so it can be cracked if you over tighten it. But even with 2 cracks, it's still holding. The legs have been slid into place to hold the bowl in place. I believe it will last a few more months to maybe a year if I'm careful. But I plan on purchasing this same holder and this time not over tightening the screws. And only let the legs be outstretched larger than the bowl size for a few days. Then slide them in to fit the bowl again. I believe that will have this holder lasting for several years! And by the way, it only tipped over once, after we had it over a year. I hope my updated review helps others to get the most out of their elevated dog bowl holder. It helps my dog to not strain his neck and shoulders. And we use a special bowl to slow him down when he eats, which keeps him from gagging and throwing up. So overall I am still very pleased with this holder and I still recommend it!

I bought the first stand and it was perfect. It was well-packaged and everything was wrapped in plastic including the screw and allen wrench. It assembled quick and had no wobble. The second stand I ordered was not wrapped in plastic and all the pieces, including the screw and allen wrench were loose in the box. Upon assembling the second stand, there was a distinct wobble and you could see the two pieces were not lining up as they should. Instead of sending it back, I cut a piece of cardboard and placed it between the two pieces. This allowed the two pieces to line up properly and eliminate the wobble. Later on I will cut a piece of plastic and place it between the two pieces in case any water makes it to the center of the stand and destroys the cardboard. I would still recommend the stand to fellow pet owners.

I’m so upset that I didn’t get this sooner. My cat has an automatic feeder and it’s too low on the ground. I have been trying to find some kind of stand for it and I’m glad I found this one. It’s the perfect height and I don’t have to worry about my cat getting whiskers fatigue anymore :)

Whoever invented these dog bowls are a genius! Having the ability to adjust the size according to the bowl being used, is just the smartest, greatest thing! Easy to use. Easy to clean. Easy to assemble. I myself assembled it in less than five minutes. Lightweight. Good material. The 12 inch high stand is the perfect height for my pup. The only complaint is that it’s not skid proof. Maybe supply some silicone bottoms, or some kind of silicone tab for the customer to place on the feet so it no longer skids. I’ll definitely buy again, and recommend to all dog owners!

This is an okay product, it works for now, but I wouldn't purchase this again unless they made some small changes. Pros: simple and straightforward to put together and is pretty bamboo, fits the x large dog food bowl and small food bowl with some extra wiggle room. Cons: There is one screw that holds the two pieces together. It's a wood screw that goes into a predrilled hole. The description gives the impression that you can break this down easily- you can- but it would not make it through several break downs. If this was a reinforced in some way, that would be ideal. The holes to secure the different sizing/expansion portion are not the size of the screw and nut that is given for it to be flush and smooth- I drilled slightly larger holes for an easy fix. When tightened, it can rock slightly and wobble- I loosened the bolts, set the bowl in, placed it on the floor and then tightened bolts. The idea of this is so cool, and I am hoping there is a 2.0 version soon!

This Dog bowl stand is a nice los profile addition to any kitchen, easy to put together and a neck saver for our dog! And it's adjustable for any bowl size! Very pleased with our purchase.
