I like this Awl as it's got a square end to it and very sharp point, so you can very easily make a pilot hole into wood making it easy to get the screws in, just be carfull as it's quite sharp and you can easily make a deeper hole than intended. Good quality make and deff recommended.

it is perfect for my needs, works well as the hole is tapered as I push and twist it into the wood. As it is square and tapered to the point it is more accurate than a round or chisel tip awl.

I ordered this tool to use as a bradawl. It is very sharp so I have fashioned a cap-end out of dowl to protect the point and me.Highly recommend!

Good iterm

I have several narex chisels, including the set of butt chisels which i love, bought this as it looks like part of that set. Like most middle age men buying tools i have no use for i don't know what you would use it for but it is a piece of craftmanship in itself so thats nice

I bought this for fine line marking for timber cut. Much better accuracy. Also has a vintage feel. A great addition to my toolbox.
