Amazing! Find a friend with a great HT and you're gauranteed an experience.
This is great to play anywhere but if you have a friend with a legitmate multi-thousand dollar home theater, you will experience something like never before. When the Inception medley starts and the subwoofers kick in you will have a giant actual physical reaction. Amazing!

He must have for Hans Zimmer fans
He must for any fan of Hans Zimmer. Especially great if you have a surround sound system and Blu-ray player. Sound in Dolby Atmos is terrific.

Excellent except for the case.
Outstanding recording and video. The only problem is the case is ridiculous. I would rather have the flimsy plastic then this cardboard thing.

Hans Zimmer; a Music Genius
EVERY movie sound track of Hans Zimmer is a must listen. There is not only the emotional pull I get while listening to his musical scores, but watching him and his orchestra's Live performance makes it a total immersive experience! A musical score can either make or break a movie. If Zimmer is in the mix, I bet he can make a bad movie good.

Moving, nearly perfect
I've been an avid Zimmer fan for nearly two decades, and I can honestly say that even though I've listened to his pieces thousands of times, this concert really moved me, in particular the Gladiator suite. Now, why isn't this a 5-star product? 1) I had to fiddle with the audio settings quite a bit to get it as near perfect as possible. First, make sure you go into the disc setup to use ATMOS (even if you only have 5.1 like me). I also had to muddle with the audio delay setting on my receiver to get the audio in sync with the video. 2) At times parts of the performance sounded as if a studio recording was overlayed on top of it. This could be a result of the video quality (grainy) not matching the audio quality (superior) or a slight disconnect between the audio and video. I say this when comparing it to something like Dave Matthews' Live at Radio City Music Hall disc where the picture and sound quality were equal, making everything feel "real." 3) Whoever edited the video spent an inordinate amount of time focused on three specific musicians when I would have appreciated seeing more of the orchestra. It was odd seeing cutaways to particular string members when the horns were clearly the focus at a particular point in time. At any rate, this is a great addition to any collection.

While nothing can match a live performance.
While nothing can compare to experiencing a show in person, this production is a splendid alternative for those unable to attend a live performance.
