Great value non-heated bidet
Maybe TMI - I was suffering from post-Covid GI problems and was raw from frequent wiping with high quality toilet paper, so I decided to try a bidet. This appears to be solidly constructed and was easy to install. The only issue for installation was that my toilet had a rigid water supply line. I had to buy a flexible water line to accommodate the difference in distance between connections (adding this bidet shortens the distance for the supply line). I live in Florida, so my “cold” water is a constant 72 degrees and is comfortable for bidet use. I image unheated water for this use would not be so comfortable in Norther climates where ground water can be in the low 40s temperature. I found it easy to get used to a bidet and have been using it for a couple of months now. It resolved the issue I was having, and I prefer the cleaner feeling versus using paper. I find a little paper is necessary for drying, as this unit does not have a dryer fan. It is easy to remove the seat for thorough cleaning of your toilet. I think this product is an excellent value and recommend it.

Great, Simple solution as compared to a Toto Washlet which did not last.
About 2+ years ago we bought a Toto Washlet (electrical controlled, top of the line with remote control) for over $500. It worked fine at first few months, and then the hand held remote control stopped working. I called Toto, and after trying to reprogram it and a 30 minute debate they finally agreed to send me a new remote control (they are available on Amazon for about $180). Recently that newer remote control stopped working, so I went online and bought a new remote (for over $180) which again did not work. I next called Toto, when they walked me through the "reprogramming" of the seat to that new remote, but after 3 attempts both the old and new remotes still did not work properly. The agent told me that since this seat was "out of warranty", they would send me a pre-paid box so I could return the seat along with a payment of $175 and they would repair it and ship it back (with a 90 day warranty)! I don't think so. I next went onto Amazon when I found this new "Delta" mechanical seat (no electricity nor remote control needed) and installed it in about 20 minutes with just a screwdriver. IT works PERFECTLY without a hand held remote controller. But here is the kicker - I could have bought EIGHT of these Delta seats for the price of the ONE Toto seat which only lasted just over 2 years thanks to the defective computer controller!!! THANK YOU DELTA for coming up with a simple inexpensive solution for this very important feature for any toilet. This is a "no brainer"!

Works as it should. Good for price
So. I’ve had this thing a year. I have to say that I’ve never had one of these before and now that I have one I’ll never go back to just paper. The seat itself seems mid quality build. Not exactly high end and definitely not poorly made. Definitely worth the $79.99 price point I think. The only issues I have is 1. The two adjustments are just pressure adjustments and not location adjustments as I was lead to believe. 2. After about a years use we are noticing the Aimee spout is leaking already. It’s not a crazy amount but it’s enough to notice a drip noise if you’re in the restroom. If you are looking to try one out to see if you like these I would say this is a good starter. My wife and I plan on upgrading soon.

Lackluster performance
I was excited (if one can truly be excited about a toilet seat) when I first discovered this product as I was looking to get something to replace my old Tushy bidet attachment and old seat. Getting something that combined the two certainly seemed like a great idea and would clean things up (in more ways than one). I loved my Tushy as it was my first foray into the wonderful world of bidets but sadly it started leaking. I never knew my chocolate starfish could feel so clean after pinching a loaf. Anyhoo, the install was easy and really the mounting method made it a snap. I got it installed and lined up fairly quickly but the seat doesn't want to stay up with my particular tank (Strike 1!). I did everything possible to remedy that but it just doesn't fit well with my setup. Whatever, I was able to adjust the tank so it somewhat works but I wasn't 100% happy but I convinced myself I could live with that if it delivers otherwise. Now, when it came time to take the Browns to the Super Bowl, I looked forward for my first drive. The shape of the seat is comfortable enough but it basically turns your elongated toilet into a shorter standard opening, which if you are a dude, can be annoying but the seat also seems flimsy and creaks which are not good traits for your throne seat (Strike 2!). Now for the true test....the bidet. Well, it is lame. I can only compare it to my old Tushy, which was excellent. The bidet sprayer here does not perform. It wasn't able to get the poo off which is the whole point. The water pressure just isn't up to the task as it was with my previous setup (Strike 3!). I'll be going a different way as soon as possible as this was a letdown. Spend your money elsewhere.

Easy setup, solid engineering
We wanted a heated water Toto washlet, but unfortunately getting an outlet in the bathroom meant getting a city permit, HOA approval, electrician, and city inspection lol. And extension cords are meant to be temporary. Oh well, a dream for another house. So after days of research, we decided on a cold water model, and went with this Delta unit. This thing is packaged like a luxury product. Everything is neatly encased in foam wrap and plenty of molded filler to keep it safe in transit from drops and dings. The plastic bags for the components is also thick and sealed, so that gave me confidence that everything was brand new from the factory. I’ve had products like clothing and hygiene products bought on Amazon that were clearly used. Gross. So off to a good start. Installation was super easy and 20 minutes. Just needed a flathead screwdriver to unscrew old seat, and a Phillips screwdriver to put the new one in. Plus a little cup to hold a few drips of water when connecting the water supply. The baseplate is really well done, it adjusts side to side and also front to back, to get the right fit of the lid to the toilet. At first, my install fell short, where the lid was not aligned to the bowl, but it’s super easy to detach the seat from the base plate with a quick release button. I pulled the base plate all the way forward and the fit was aligned. It might be good for Delta to put a “this side up” and arrows pointing to the tank on the baseplate, but figuring it out only added a couple of minutes, based on the easy to follow instructions. Also it’s common sense to flush the toilet and turn off the water supply before starting, which I did, but we all have our moments where we might forget and hurry through. So that could be something else to add. I liked the looks of the polished metal fittings on the hose, and all the connectors were easy to attach and screw in by hand. There’s a disposable plastic cap to keep the gaskets in the fittings, as well as a note in the instructions to doublecheck the rubber gaskets are in the connectors before screwing in. This prevents leaks and I appreciated the attention to detail on this important step. Overall I can tell there is a lot of thought by the engineers that has gone into this unit. Usage is solid. Water pressure is good in both back and front modes. The dial is easy to use and has a nice audible and tactile click when you return it to the off position. You get the same cleanliness as any washlet. The room temperature water is actually refreshing, so not that big of a deal to not have. Maybe those with ice cold water, it might be a much bigger deal in the winter. Overall, a huge upgrade from using regular toilet paper. The level of clean you get with a washlet is beyond anything you can get with paper, even using wet wipes. Someday we’ll live the dream of having the heated dryer, air freshener, and heated seat, but for now this Delta unit is a solid choice with zero complaints.

Delta bidet toilet lid is a great value
If you are ready to change your lid, try Delta bidet toilet lid since it's slow close and would kill two birds with one stone(would save about $30). You need to make sure you place your tush in the right place so the water hits the correct spot. Water does not feel cold at all because it's a squirt of water and I did not feel a shock. Installation was very easy, in less than 3/4 hour. Took longer to remove old lid and cleanup around the rim. I liked quality and feel of lid, it is sturdy and fit perfect my elongated toilet. I will buy another in the coming weeks. Nice Christmas present for my butt, don't feel that itchiness that you experience using toilet paper alone. Your behind gets cleaned pretty good and it's incredible the feeling of cleanliness that you achieve. So far I am very satisfied with this bidet. I feel like I am a millionaire, what a luxury to own this product.

Not quite centered, lid works but only just; still a good seat for cheap!
Bought this to replace a separate bidet that went between the seat rather than an integrated unit like this. I live in an apartment so I didn’t want to purchase something super expensive, and there is no outlet for electricity or warm water where the seat is installed, so low fi was the way to go (cold water only from toilet supply line). Pros: dead easy to install, no need for a secondary pressure regulator between the seat connection and the tee at the toilet water source. Last bidet I had would slice you open if you ran it full force! This is internally regulated which can be a pro or a con depending on how much force you like. It is a bit on the weaker side in comparison to the other unit. All of the hardware was provided and functioned as expected, very easy to clean since there is a simple latch on the side to take the seat off when needed and put it back without disturbing the alignment. The seat and lid are slow closing which is helpful when they work right. I bought this about a year ago, and in that time the cons that I’ve noticed: The slow closing feature of the lid has worn out and now is a hindrance. It’s not such an issue when you sit on it (rests on your back) but for men, you can imagine the inconvenience. The only other thing I’ve noticed is I always have to scoot one way or the other to try and get the sprayer to aim correctly; seems to be aimed slightly off center left to right which is annoying. If you are a bigger person, you may find the front back room is a little cramped, but it works for me. Ultimately, nothing about this is a true dealbreaker. The seat not staying up just means I have to hold it instead, and the spray angle is something I haven’t necessarily discovered being any better at this price range. I imagine if there was an adjustable center mounted sprayer that would solve the problem. But by then you’re usually looking into different territory with these things. For the cost, it’s hard to beat!

Easy to use, low profile bidet seat PLUS my bonus bidet advice!
My experience with reasonably priced bidets: Bidet seats beat bidet attachments, hands down. Also, If you have molded plastic toilet seats, the bidet attachment will likely not fit properly. Consider the space around your toilet for room to accommodate protruding parts and hoses for the bidet seat. Our toilet is next to the tub, so the right angle hose attachment and small operating knob on this Delta seat are ideal for us. Do you really need a hot water bidet? Probably not, unless you live in a super cold area, and your water heater is very fast. My last 2 houses have had on-demand water heaters, so the hot water connection on my first bidet was useless. You can get a bidet that heats the water, but that is $$$. With all of these things in mind, the Delta seat is well-priced, and not terribly difficult to install. There is an unusual nut/bolt that I had to figure out, and getting the mounting plate properly positioned was a little tricky. All in all, the process wasn't bad. I was initially worried that the knob does not "click" into the off position, but that hasn't been a problem. I bought 3 of these, one for every toilet in my house.

Great little product, easy to install
Once you’ve been to Japan, you’ll realize that this is the future. I’ve purchased 3 of these now. Wanted to try it for a while before committing to buying more, and now I have. It’s a simple system and it works. You can adjust the pressure by adjusting the supply knob to the toilet tank if it’s too strong. Delta is a recognized brand too, and looks to be built to last. You can go fancy and get electric ones (they are coming down in price) provided you have electric source near the bottom of your toilet. If you want simple, I recommend this product. I’ve tried a few fancy ones, but I’m sure when they break down it will be a giant hassle to sort it out. This one is perfect for us. Saves on TP, and save the planet a bit too. Clean bums unite!

A Good Fit for Me
I looked at six or seven different bidet seats online, and decided that the Delta's measurements were the best fit for my toilet--even though it is not an elongated model. Installation went smoothly except for one problem with the supply hose requiring a trip to Rona, but that was in no way the fault of the bidet kit. For most people, it should be a 20-minute job requiring only a screwdriver and an adjustable wrench. The adjustable bracket makes it pretty easy to adjust the seat's position to your particular toilet. And being able to quickly remove the seat entirely for cleaning is a nice feature. Once everything was in place, it was time for a test. I found both the aim and the pressure of the nozzle to be spot on--although this being my first bidet, I don't have much to compare it to. I'm a male, so I'm only using the "rear" nozzle. I'll ask for additional commentary from my female guests. I'm writing this in the dead of winter, during an unusually long (for Vancouver), sub-freezing cold snap. The unheated water is, shall we say, bracing. Especially after multiple tests. But as I live alone and the toilet routinely goes several hours between uses, the water has time to warm up to room temperature for most uses. For all but a few weeks of the year, I don't think I'll miss having a heated water supply. I don't have an electrical outlet anywhere near my toilet anyway, so it's not going to happen. Already, I know I'm never going back to toilet paper. This is so much more effective.

Source of headache
Got this almost a year ago. Noticed signs of leak and plumber pointed out that bidet was the source of water leak that was going under our condo tile. Not sure about the longevity and integrity of this unit in long term but decided to discard it due to leakage. Will recommend to look elsewhere.
