I have the sandwich toaster which I haven't used because the toaster slots are not wide as I expected and I would have to make the thinnest sandwiches that it is possible to make to use it. This rack is great to have because I always warm the plate before putting my crumpets on. but I find that it should be wider so that it covers the width of the toasting slots. I use it every time. I have seen it described as stainless steel, as far as I can tell, it is chromed steel, I don't think that anyone would waste time in chroming stainless steel and it is heavy. By the way, crumpets just about fit in the toaster slots. One of the great things about this toaster is that you don't get burning crumbs.

If you want to warm a croissant or similar this item is ideal. It is also very sturdy and the way it is built makes it suitable for any Dualit toaster. The only possible downside would be where to store it--it's a bit bulky. We have a six slice toaster and don't often use the last two slots, so it neatly sits there when not in use! Although it's amazing how often we use it now: we can microwave something then place it on the rack for another minutes to crisp-up what would otherwise take ages to heat in an oven, or be rather soggy if eaten straight from the microwave!

Best purchase ever! Size can be adjusted easily depending on size of toaster. Fits our 4 slice toaster perfectly and is brilliant for warming croissants for brekkies in the guest house. Looks classy too and get a lot of compliments about them. Best gadget purchase of the year so far!

Have only used a couple of times but very happy- does the job. Gently warms and easy to handle.

they work as they should

Very simple, very effective. Slightly sprung so it fits and holds in the toaster slots until you want it off. Holds poppadoms, ciabatta, crumpets, naan bread the perfect distance above the toaster to get them hot. I wish now that I’d bought one years ago!

Great item if you want to warm croissant or similar. Do need to be aware that will require Dualit toaster to be on full heat and toaster will need to be positioned with clear air above.

Habe mir den Brötchenaufsatz für meinen Vario 6-Slice Toaster geholt und bin sehr zufrieden. Die Verarbeitung steht dem Toaster selbst in nichts nach. Ehrlich gesagt war ich sehr überrascht, wie schwer dieses Teil ist (~320g). Optisch schön glänzend und scheinbar gebaut für die Ewigkeit. Im Großen und Ganzen die 13€ bestimmt wert. Zumindest wenn man schonmal in einen Dualit Toaster investiert hat. ;) Die Füße sind abnehmbar und lassen sich für 2, 3 oder 4 Schlitze justieren, es passen bequem 2-3 Brötchen drauf... Tolles Teil!

Must have accessory for this brand of toaster. Well designed and constructed and works great!

Faut le faire : les supports sont plus longs que les fentes du toaster ! Voilà une marque qui ne respecte pas ses dimensions traditionnelles…
