my experience has been that flexible steel hoses only last 3 to 5 years, then they leak. the rating is based on knowing they have a limited life span but will last longer than the warranty period

These are great shower hoses. I have used multiple and even though they don't last as long as I'd like, at the price it's ok. I'd say these roughly last 2 years on average. Have had a couple fail in a year or less, but rare.

Bought this to be able to have my detachable shower head reach my little ones when giving them a bath for easy rinsing. Super long and makes bath time so much easier. Also makes cleaning the bath/shower much easier. Works perfect!

I purchased this item in December 2022. The hose that comes with shower heads are just too damn short especially if you have and bathe your own pets. This has a great length and durability for maneuvering all angles all through the tub with sheer ease. Its been utilized at least daily since I got it and only recently have I seen any tarnishing on the exterior which has had no effect on its performance or use. While it didn't fix the fact that my shower head leaks, no prior hose or connector has prevented it either including the manufacturer one. The connection point at the faucet hasn't leaked with this hose and is still holding strong. I've also repurchased this item for my family members that have mentioned wanting an item like this but not knowing much about how it will hold up 6 months to years down the line, and to my knowledge its worked as well for them as it has me.

The product is great, and makes a BIG difference in the water pressure! We will be replacing all the shower heads to this!

My biggest concerns with products like this are leaks and durability. So far there is no leak, not even a small trickle. It's nice that they included tape, but it looked a bit flimsy. I would recommend using your own if you have any. It's too early to say anything about durability. Overall I'm very happy with this product.

Although it says you don't need any tools for installation you should have a pair of pliers handy to tighten the fitting. The product functions perfectly and looks good too.
