I’m a woman size 8, do I go down to a 7 as it’s unisex? Is this suitable for horse riding?

I suggest that you take your normal size - a size 7 comes to a 41 and an 8 comes to a 42. They do tend to come up big but that is only to accommodate for thick socks. Alternatively, you can add insoles. These boots have a heel so should be find for horse riding.
