Johnstone's - Upcycling Furniture Paint - Cushion White - 750ml

Received paint very quickly. I used two coats on my wardrobe and it has covered perfectly. Great quality paint, perfect colour and fab price. Dried quickly. Would definitely buy again

Absolutely brilliant stuff The paint didn’t seem to stop and I used a quarter of a tin to paint a big chest of drawers brilliant stuff I’m going to paint more with it

I bought this chalk paint to upcycle a free cd unit I had acquired & I wanted to use chalk paint to achieve a particular look. The unit needed 3-4 coats. It adhered well and had good coverage. When finished I added a coat of finishing wax m. My only gripe is the colour isn’t what I expected m. I was hoping for more sage green but it actually looks like mint green. If I were doing another one, I would probably buy a sample pot first just to ensure it’s the right colour. Overall though, it’s a good quality paint that’s better value than a branded name. It was delivered quickly in a box that was well packed.

I find that Johnstone's are a very dependable company. I use quite a lot of chalk paint, and this is now the only brand I buy. Some others I have purchased are not only more expensive, but do not have the consistency of the 'Chalky' range.

This paint is stunning; I normally use a more expensive one but couldn't find the right colour. The pictures dont do it justice, the furniture did have a light grey paint underneath, however, it went on like a dream and covered well using 2 coats. I managed to paint, just front doors and draws as I like the paint/ pine effect with one tin of paint. All 2 coats, i bought 2 tins and have a spare tin for touch ups etc. 1 wardrobe as seen in picture, 1 bedding box, 1 set of large 6 draws , 1 set of 6 large draws and 1 ikea 4 box unit, the whole unit with one tine of paint!! Will be sticking to this brand in future.

Paint looks lovely on my cabinet but my husband, who is good at painting said he didn't like the texture. He did two coats of paint over white.
