Hooever Women's Wool Coat Notch Lapel Double-Breasted Peacoat

Impressed. For the price, this is the perfect Florida winter coat. We had a rough winter so far and I’m freezing. I realized I don’t own any real coats. I bought the beige, black, and light grey! I LOVE them. I’m a 12, 5’6”, 205lbs, all my weight is in my butt and thighs. The coat looks so cute open, buttoned it’s a little tight on my hips but I don’t close it really. It works with my knee length work dresses and hits just below those. It’s soft. Not itchy. Even my dad said he liked it. When I told him Amazon and the price, he was impressed. It’s loose enough in the arms I can wear long sleeves underneath. And over my work dresses it looks more elevated. The beige is a creamy color beige. The light grey has a slight blue undertone and it really pretty. Shipping came super fast. I had the first one I started with the very next day. Overall I’d totally buy another and for the price, if I can get a few seasons out of it I’ll be thrilled. It’s perfect for Florida where we need a coat now and again but it’s not worth a huge investment because it hangs in a closet most years.

Bought for a gift for my daughter who had been saying she needed a dress coat like this. She is slightly smaller in build than I am and it fits me well so I believe it will fit her nicely. I am 5'10 and about 150 lbs. I bought a large because she and I both need extra room in the shoulder area (linebacker shoulders-LOL). The coat is heavy and warm. I like the camel color. The price was really good and the quality seems a bit better than what I was finding in the stores. I have it wrapped for Christmas now, but I want to say the camel color appears a little more yellow/gold than what is pictured here. Update: I had already wrapped this when I wrote my review. Now that it is unwrapped and I see it again, I wanted to say it is NOT yellowish. It is a true camel brown as shown.

This coat did not fit me, but I’m giving five stars because it’s a beautiful coat. The fabric is nice, perfect weight and it looks very well-made. I’m 5 feet tall, 125 pounds and curvy.(small waist big bum big boobs) and it was too big in the shoulders! It did fit in the chest, but if I got a smaller size to fit my shoulders, it would’ve been too tight in the bum. Super disappointed. I got a size small and it fit everywhere except the shoulders. And I got the red, which was a beautiful classic Christmas red.

For the price this is an excellent purchase. I bought the blue which is a striking color and I am getting many unexpected compliments. It is lightweight and not bulky which I like. The wearability is excellent. I first wore it for family visits around the holidays, but will wear it as my commuter coat to work this winter. I will always wear a scarf with it because of the large opening around the neck lapel. What I had not noticed in the photos when I ordered it, is that at about the hip area, the coat opens in a "V" in front of the legs. This coat does not cover the thighs. That is fine with me as it is more walkable and less constricting. I am 110 lbs and 5.0" tall and purchased an extra small (XS) which fits me perfectly across the shoulders and chest. The length of the sleeves is a couple of inches too long but still wearable, not worth the expense to have them shortened. The length of the coat is below the knee, and although I would have preferred shorter, that is also fine. Overall for the price, I would definitely recommend - especially the striking blue color.

This coat is exactly what I expected, and exactly what I was looking for – it’s comfortable, good quality, keeps me warm, lovely color. I get 2–3 compliments every time that I wear it during this winter. I bought it in purple, which is more like a mob, pink, and the color is very flattering. I got it in medium, which is my usual size and it fits perfectly. The pockets are subtle, but very big – it keeps my hands warm if I forget to wear gloves, and my large iPhone fit comfortably inside without it poking up. I’m 5’7”, and it lands right on top of my knees. Highly recommended.

I really love this jacket. The color. The length. Keeps me warm. However…it pills so much. I followed the directions for how to care for the jacket but after a month of wear it pilled like crazy no matter what.

Quality is good, coat is cute. Color is a lil darker than shown on the picture, but the color wasn't a huge factor for me, so I kept it. I haven't worn it yet, so can't speak to durability.

I had to return this because the color was wrong for me and it was too large plus the quality was inferior.

La calidad es muy mala, la tela es muy delgada, no tiene forma, las mangas una e smas larga que otra. Pedí reembolso y te dicen q te quedes con la prenda que no te gusto y te regresan el 10% del valor porque dicen q es muy costoso para ellos regresar la prenda... Y te quedas con una prenda muy fea y sin tu dinero
