Brilliant.
Having just put together our greenhouse, I'd seen these auto vents and wondered if they'd fit an aluminium greenhouse vent window. I ordered this one as some of the others on Amazon stated they were capable of opening some serious weight vents and as ours is light I was worried they may have been too strong. It works amazingly well opening the vent a good 10"/250mm maximum and closes fully to seal the vent efficiently. We now don't have to argue who's going to go out and open/close the vent 😀

Does the job but fiddly to fit
It opens and closes my greenhouse window - so I cannot complain about that, it functions as expected. Fitting it however was a little fiddly resulting in much swearing from my other half!

Does the job perfectly!
Has automated the greenhouse windows and operating the way it should. Fixed on two windows and on the warmer days either one or both open depending on the temp.

It does not fit Palram Harmony or anything with similar bars
If you have a Palram with standard Palram slots, forget it! One buyer said they made it work but did not reply when I asked HOW. The seller certainly doesn't tell you how to and one side could NOT possibly take the appropriate fittings even if manipulated so DON'T BUY! I have reuested a refund - wish me luck!

The claim that it is suitable for a Palram greenhouse is not accurate.
I like that it works without batteries or electricity. I was disappointed that it had to be modified it to fit my Palram greenhouse window because the fitting brackets were approx 5ml short.

Works great
This works amazingly well. I was dubious that it would work at all and found it a bit tricky to get it to fit to my greenhouse, but once fitted it works perfectly.

Not straight forward to fit to a Palram Aluminium Greenhouse.
I had to modify the bracket to make it fit my Palram greenhouse. It works really well once adjusted.

L'ho ordinato in sostituzione di un apri finestra simile, ma di marca diversa, che si è rotto dopo un anno di utilizzo probabilmente per il caldo eccessivo di quest'estate. Questo arrivato nei tempi previsti e funziona, per ora, perfettamente.
