BRILLIANT !!!!!!
ARC kindly provided in exchange for an honest review.I thought nothing could be better than Six, James debut book but how wrong can I be? Six Toy was bigger and better.Six Toy is a continuation of Six were we get to see the relationship develop between the two main characters, Emma and Johnathon and also there sidekick Suki. Suki also has a story of her own which comes out later on in the book that will leave you in tears. We also get to see a lot more of the characters from the last book Aunt Fee, Mallory and Barry which was also very enjoyable to read. This book is full of filth and very hot sex scenes which blew my mind, it's definitely worth the 5 stars I have given it.Six Toy will make you laugh, cry and very hot under the collar.James Crow has done it again and I can't wait to see what he has in store for us next time.

Enjoyed but not loved !!!!!
OK I'm torn with this book because I absolutely loved the first book Six; James Crow's debut novel. This book I couldn't quite connect with for some reason, and I'm still sitting here trying to fathom out why. Now I have the broadest of minds and nothing really bothers me but this book seemed all about the kink, the filith the extreme in which it could be pushed which is great because I have read some of the best books where sex but filth is concerned - Jade West springs to mind and of course Jason Luke, AND surprisingly I couldn't/didn't want to stop reading it, but I felt there should have been so much more romance and love thrown in to make it "feel" right somehow. If anything there was too much hardcore filth and not enough of the love coming through between these people. What I did love was that we got to find out more about Suki and how she came to be with Johnathan Gold. I also liked the progress of Emma to a certain extent but it was all too much. I got bored in parts as I thought "here we go again" and yet there were many times that I was completely turned on reading some of the more enjoyable stuff lol I think more of a plot, a story would have been more welcome.Yes of course this book is set out to shock, to make you cringe ( let me tell you it sure does in some parts) but you can't deny this book is written really well and you have to applaud James Crow for that. I love BDSM, love a bit of kink, lots of hot sex but some of this stuff seriously has you asking "would people really do this and enjoy it for real "Enjoyable to a limit but not as enjoyable as the first book. Be warned this is hard core, filthy, hot dirty sex and not for the faint hearted by any means !!!!!

A whole new level of hot
I loved reading this book. I love the characters and I enjoyed the story. The kink got heavier and filthier and the ending was brilliant.Holy hell, the kink was on a whole new level in this book. There was kinks I had never even heard of. It was pure filth. It had me squirming in every way at times, both in the good and the bad way. It definitely isn’t for the light hearted, especially when it came to The Closet.Jonathan is a brilliant character. He loves Emma and he wants to do what’s best for her and help her to grow. Emma is also a brilliant character. She is becoming a whole new person with him, stronger, empowered and happy, until she wants more. The Closet intrigued me leading up to it, and the preparation Jonathan puts her through only heightens that. We don’t find out much about it until it happens. Even with the duel POV, it keeps you thinking. It was a ride reading the Closet scene, and parts of it surprised me. I felt for Emma at times, and then Jonathan’s thoughts added a new dimension. Emma was incredibly strong but she learnt a lot in her experience. The duel POV is what makes this book. Seeing his thoughts and scheming and then Emma’s thoughts as she experiences it. It’s brilliant.Leading up to the Judge, I had mixed feelings. I didn’t want her to go through with it, and then when it came to that time, I was left completely and utterly surprised. I didn’t see that coming.Jonathan, that man and his secretive planning. This story was just as much Suki’s story as it was Emma and Jonathan’s. Her past ripped at my heart and then the revelation at the end… It was fantastic. This entire book was brilliant and the plot developed great. The ending was perfect, if not a little surprising. I absolutely loved reading it and I would definitely recommend it.Jessreviews.co.uk
