Magical flea killing dust ✨
I was moved into a property that had a really bad flea infestation leaving it completely uninhabitable and nothing was getting rid of them. I’d tried endless sprays, smoke appliances, had 3 professional fumigations etc — after 1 application of the DE, the difference was amazing. This paired with Indorex spray cleared the lot, eggs included within 3 weeks after a previous 6 month battle. Genuinely couldn’t be happier with the results. It is really messy to use. I highly recommend using a sieve of some sorts to finely distribute it. If you can, buy a cheap vaccum that you’re willing to throw because it will wreck whatever you use to get it back up after a while. I bought a £30 one from here and it’s done amazingly. Also recommend a respirator and gloves, it’s super super drying and totally wrecked my nails when used without gloves.

Much more cost effective and only marginally less convenient than a pricey 'Frontline' or 'Advantage' flea control subscription
I keep a little bit of this in an old ashtray by the sofa. The cats soon got used to me brushing in a little bit between their shoulders and towards their tail every once in a while or else whenever I see them 'twitching' and nibbling at their rumps; their usual sign of fleas. I was skeptical at first; it perhaps takes a little longer with perhaps two or three applications, it's hard to say. The only advantage I see with the chemical approach (Frontline/Advantage) is that it's a handy one shot fix. The disadvantages are that those are pretty potent insecticides to apply directly to your feline and introduce into your home; I feel I must take care not to ruffle them behind the ears once treated and worry about children getting the chemicals on their hands and in their mouths afterwards - The cats hate the wet sensation of those Spot-on solutions on their necks and so instantly struggle and/or flee. Also, at £4-£6 a month for each of my two cats that soon adds up to around £120/year; ADVANTAGES - of Diatomaceous Earth: I brush a couple of generous pinches into them with a grooming brush whenever I see one of them get twitchy and they love it - one cat loves rolling in garden dust anyway so it's never an issue for her - No worries about insecticides and I can still ruffle their necks - You can sprinkle the dust on the carpets and sleeping areas instead of using insecticide. I can't vouch for that myself but farmers use it in hen coups, grain silos and such like... messy though but it hoovers up - Cheap cheap cheap; this bag's going to last at least a year! I'm pretty sure this is why its reserved for the farming industry and not promoted in pet shops; where's the profit in it! DISADVANTAGES : Perhaps not a one shot fix; I brush in a good pinch of earth every two or three days until the fleas are gone; about a week - It can get everywhere if you're not careful; not a problem really since it hoovers up easily or else, brushed in and left where it falls for a while, continues to act on any residual larvae (carpet moths and bedbugs too!).

Good to help with plant flies
Brought to kill midges living in my plant soil. Also fruit flies. So far has stopped about 90% of them. I have used sticky plant traps to catch the rest. Make sure soil is bone dry as will go clay like once wet. I have had to water via putting plants in a little water in the sink and bottom water for roughly 8 mins. Only 4 stars due to packaging is not sealed very well, also you have to put your arm into bag so make sure arms are covered as I do not think it is good for our skin. Would recommend if you have small flies in plants.

Works very well for flea Killer. A lot of products only repel
Fantastic product, it really does work to basically kill anything flea size. You can even eat diatomaceous earth to help your gut and tummy out. I personally don't but I sometimes add a little to my dogs food.

Actually kills fleas!
Bought two bags, one for my own pets and some for my parents pets. My parents cats and dog suffered from these tiny fleas that just would not die. They tried every product under the sun, vet consultations & then finally resorted to this stuff. This stuff is the BEST. After a few days of consistent use, the pesky fleas that had harassed their pets were dead and done. So easy to use, don’t need much product so it should last you quite a while, and it’s so cost effective!!!! My cat lost his fleas within 2 days and I am so beyond grateful to this item!

Natural Flea Killer
I decided to use this to help sort a very unwelcome flea problem in my house. I wanted to try to use a more natural approach. I had read reviews and also that it can make a mess which didn’t bother me as my objective was to get rid of the pesky fleas. If arrived in a plastic bag and as a result was tricky to transfer into the container not to mention, dusty. I tried using a funnel to get it into my container but it clogged up so wouldn’t flow through so that was a dead end. Once transferred into my homemade sprinkler container it was easy enough to sprinkle onto the carpets but boy what a mess! I wasn’t all that bothered as I just wanted the damn fleas gone. Unfortunately hoovering the mess was the real issue for me and there was so much mess that my Hoover filter (Dyson) kept clogging up with it. I had to wash the filter and carry on but it clogged again with it. It was all over the hoover inside the tubes and all over. The extra effort of cleaning the hoover then waiting days for the filter to dry only to have it clog up again was too much. (On top of fighting the fleas) I won’t be using it again for that purpose but I’m sure it’s good when used for one of its other purposes.
