Best one weโve found for our crazy puppy
Great fit for my 60 pound Australian Shepherd puppy. He doesnโt seem to mind it so I would assume that itโs comfortable. I like the Velcro because we were able to customize a name tag for him. Plenty of adjustability if he gains more weight. Very sturdy as my dog likes to chew through his harnesses and so far, canโt make a dent in this one. Once you get the hang of it, itโs extremely easy to use. We always keep the front buckles latched, and then we have him stick his head through and buckle the two around his body. The ring for the leash is strong metal, and the handle on the top is extremely convenient for holding onto my dog when he wants to chase bunnies.

Great harness for my big thick good sir
This harness fits so well! My favorite part since my big boy is so thick around his neck compared to his body is that you can custom fit and adjust both the back and the neck line areas. I use a hands off leash and this hardness is very sturdy and keeps Bruce attached to me no matter what so itโs very safe. Itโs definitely more comfy than his older one and itโs very easy to use with the straps to snap them in!

Waited 2 months to review
So, first thing I did was wade through the bad reviews. I have a 30lb Chihuahua Pitbull mix Aurora. She is strong and loves to roll in the grass. I had my worries, but it seemed like the reviews were mostly good, so I bought a bright pink vest for her. So first, the bad: โข The straps do loosen over time and require readjusting. โข The clasps are a little difficult to clip onto an energetic pup. โข Due to her posture, the vest does bunch together on her back from time to time. โข The stitching shows signs of wear, but has not broken. I don't know how this will fair for a meatier pup. โข The biggest thing, the sizing! So originally we got a medium harness and well... That was just way too big. So we reordered, after measuring her collar, chest, abdomen, and back, we went with a small. Now, the small harness fits, however almost to the smallest setting. So keep in mind, petite build medium dogs may need small to extra small. Please measure your dog and use the sizing chart as a guide (not law). Now, on with the good!: โข I love this harness! โข It fits comfortably and is breathable for my black furred pup. It doesn't chafe under her for arms. โข It provides multiple points for control and containment. The handle is conveniently placed and (so far) is sturdy. The chest ring is a D-Ring, I wonder if an O- Ring would work better here? But it does work, maybe a bit harder for sturdier pups to follow the anti-pull device. And the sturdy anchor ring on the back holds fast when my pup begins to chase the birds around. She is quite acrobatic as well and has put this harness through some unexpected paces. And it holds well when we use the yard or car seatbelt tethers. โข We got the Pink "Tactical" Harness. The bright pink and reflective edges make her SUPER visible. Especially important at night because she practically disappears in the dark... โข The Velcro is a good size and decently placed for a few "hands off" and "support animal" patches. โข This harness is super cheap and if it does break then lesson learned, if not then it's a fantastic investment.

JUST BARELY FIT MY GIRL; NOT HEAVY DUTY, MEDIUM DUTY
I bought this for my dog Zelda, who is JUST PERFECTLY in that zone of Not-Medium and Not-Large. She's a 3 year old shelter dog, who ON PAPER reads "LARGE DOG", according to her Embark; 35% Dutch Shepherd, 18% Malinois, 17.6% Lab, 17% Pit, 12.4% other. She stands 25in to the shoulder, and is the most slender dog I've met, until I got Maxwell. This puts her in that awkward middle ground. Pros: -Color, HOLY COW, I have bought MANY "SAFETY ORANGE" colored items, and none have been literally blindingly bright like this. EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. See my girl, well, that bit of Lab in her is clearly BLACK LAB, and as such, she's a black dog with a Dutch Shepherd shape, making her quite intimidating. I use SAFETY ORANGE, for CROWD WORK, which makes it sound like she's a service dog or something, she's not, but I like taking my pack with me everywhere we go, and one of them always goes into the store with me where they're allowed to (LOWE'S, ACADEMY SPORTS, etc). So I like people being able to see her coming. I also take both of them to a Mississippi only event called CRUSIN' THE COAST, which is literally a 45 mile long Car show for a whole week in October. The state goes all out for it, and it's always great. My girl loves people and loves these events, but again, she looks scary and like the problem breed Dutch Shepherds are known as by insurance standards. She's literally the sweetest girl, with one CREEPY BAD HABIT, that's one part cute, and a whole lot of other parts awkward. She likes to sneakily lick the back of people's knees... SO, YES, having a good BRIGHT ORANGE, is a BOON when they're out in public. Back when Trapper was still alive, and I'd bring them both Crusin' the Coast, everyone wanted to pet him, and well, Trapper was a very particular dog, he didn't like being pet, he'd reluctantly accept it, but I would have to tell people to try the big scary dog next to him, who will literally go limp in ecstasy, nuzzle you and just get them serotonin juices flowin'. Now I have Maxwell, so two scary looking dogs, since he's like his brother, a near 50/50 American Foxhound and Rottweiler mix (Trapper's other 50% was Catahoula). -While not the most "MINIMAL" harness, as I alluded to earlier, I let people who ask, pet my dogs. I wanted them to be THERAPY dogs, could easily make Zelda, the big scary Black Dog, into one. She would love it. So with that said, I want them to pet her body/torso and stay away from the bite-ie bits, even though she has never bit me, even when she broke her front leg (two different times and two different front legs), where dogs are the most aggressive and vulnerable. Never was muzzled for checkups since she just doesn't ever bite. She's like Trapper, who also was a NEVER BITE, if she plays tug with me, and her teeth even slightly graze flesh she drops the toy, and quickly apologizes. BUT STILL, as much body exposure is great. This gives decent body exposure, while also giving decent velcro points so I could put "ASK TO PET" on the top line, and "ZELDA" on the bottom line, since GIRL GETS MISGENDERED ALL THE TIME... Cons: -buckles feel cheap, I was able to lift my girl without a buckle coming undone, but luckily I don't really use the harness as a leash point anyways, I use slip leads in public. LUCKILY Zelda is too old to pull and be problematic, she never was, she's an off-leash walker, came that way. -Adjusting this is a pain, Luckily with Zelda, she maxes out the length on the Medium and it barely fits her. Only "QUESTIONABLE" spot, is around the legs, I feel like it's a little cramped, like that hole isn't wide enough on the Coronal/Frontal Plane (anterior and posterior). She has big Biceps and Triceps. You need a good deal of Strength to adjust or loosen this, it's not impossible, but it is tricky. Conclusion: I would label this harness as a "Good-Dog" harness. Meaning, don't buy this harness if you don't have decent control over your dog. I don't trust this harness for, say, my Maxwell, who isn't great on the leash and is a bit of a dragger and lunger (working on it), I think him being part Rottweiler, would easily test and best these buckles. Zelda, on the other hand is not one to test the limits of her equipment. If these had metal buckles, or that parachute buckle, then I'd say this would be suitable for less leash trained dogs. I am not upset with this purchase.

Good harness for good dog!
Got this for our mixed breed dog, she's something of a blue heeler, husky, something else mix. Shes a puller, and while she wasn't trailed well as a pup (we got her around the age of 3) this has helped a ton! She seems very comfortable in it, works well in the rain, comes on so many colors, and the price is good. The straps are easy to adjust and stay, don't slip when she pulls which I feel was an issue with other harnesses. Easy to put on and take off, and feels very secure.

Helpful harness
Great harness. Needed a front lead for both of my dogs. Theyโre much easier to walk and the harnesses have stayed securely on and held up nicely when my dogs have tried to buck or wriggle out. The harness is good quality and flexible enough that my dogs arenโt bothered by it when itโs on. I was even able to keep it on under my dogs life jacket when weโre out on the water.

Good harness, inaccurate sizing
This harness is very sturdy. The handle is very convenient! I bought it while we were caring for my son and d-i-l's Golden retriever, as we didn't feel comfortable with her previous harness. The sizing suggestions are way off! We measured her prior to buying, and the suggested size was a large. It was much too big. She is 70 lbs. I decided to purchase a medium, and it is quite snug, but much more secure! I actually decided to keep the large instead of returning it, even though we will use the size medium. We will give both sizes to her owners. If she gets bigger, they'll already have the larger size.

Fits my girl
Fits my dog, that's the main thing. Seems solid enough that it won't easily tear. Fairly bright pink color, so she's easily seen.

Good product for large dogs
My dog loves this vest. However she has weird dimensions. Her chest is massive and her hips are tiny. Kind of like the guys at the gym that only do chest days and skip leg day. Needless to say, well made.
