GREAT BUY! BORSII CALIFORNIA KING 18” HIGH BED FRAME!
We brought the California King frame back in April 2023. I attached one of the sites pictures for the one we have and will include more later. Two years to a T and it’s still going strong! It was very easy to assemble, great price for the size and quality! Worth the $200 we paid and $500-1000 we didn’t have to pay! It looks amazing, very clean, sleek, modern looking! It’s very sturdy and we don’t hear any noise. We are big tall people and have even watched movies on it with the kids and still holding up! Our mattress is about 12-14 inch; I can’t recall exactly and firm. I would say get a deep fitted sheet that fully covers your mattress. Since our frame is 18” high and the mattress also higher, you can see from afar if a sheet is not fully covering. Get a comforter or blanket that is California King so it will look nice when made up. Because the mattress is high, I don’t see the footboard when laying. It has not been a problem ever and in fact when I want to sit nearer the tv on wall at the end of the bed, I can feel the extra support there from the footboard just under where my mattress stops. So it worked out. I would’ve worried the footboard would loosen if feet or anything pushed up against it. Our frame has the bar in middle of headboard and footboard and it’s attached to the bar along the middle of the main frame, so any blankets we pull higher up and fold so we can easily tuck at the foot, otherwise we don’t tuck them and place over the footboard, which I don’t mind, but looks better to when tucked. I prefer metal over wood, because it’s easy to clean, more functional and doesn’t attract termites…I think lol. Wood tends to crack and break, but this metal frame holds up to its reputation all the way! No scratches, bends, breaks, screws missing, paint missing, and it’s been two years! A great buy and we’ll worth it!!

Good bed for those of us who are heavy
To be completely honest, my reason for purchasing this bed was because I broke my old one. When browsing beds from multiple stores and sellers my primary concern was that the bed was strong enough to last me for a while. This bed stood out among the rest not just for matching my verbiage of “heavy duty bed” but because of the price, which was a fair enough price compared to the other bed I was going to get from ikea. To my understanding the twin xl bed frame was advertised as being able to hold up to 2,500 and while it has proven to be sturdy enough to hold my 320 lb self, I don’t think it will gold anywhere close to 2,500 unless you somehow evenly distribute the full weight along the whole bed, which isn’t the case for a lot of us who like to sit up while watching tv or practice wrestling on our beds. Nevertheless the bed holds. Overall the bed was simple enough to put together between two people, and certainly much easier to put together than something from ikea, but my only gripe was that there is a small but noticeable gap where the headrests connect to the side rails which despite tightening and attempting to align as much as posible it’s still noticeable and has led to squeaking every now and then. To solve this I tighten the side screws enough so as to not strip the screw which has already slipped a couple of times. I hope this does not turn worse in the future but it’s there for now, and I will definitely post an update if it breaks.

Garbage Product!!!
This bed is absolute junk. I wanted a tall, sturdy bed as my husband and I are tall, sturdy people. I ordered this bed on March 20, 2025. It lasted less than 10 months. It has been self-loosening since a month after we got it. We were regularly tightening up every bolt on the bed to stop the wiggle and noise. 3 months ago the side support legs started playing outwards. We had to run a ratchet strap around all 3 middle legs to keep them straight. Today, when I laid down for bed, the center leg completely snapped off which collapsed the entire bed in on itself. Now the bed is garbage and I am sleeping on the floor at 6 months pregnant. Do not buy this bed!!!

What they say is what it is!
Unbelievable! So easy to put together, it looks great in my child's room. It is exactly as described, it could hold my car, let alone my 400 lb youngster who really needs to get on a treadmill for like you know a while lol. I totally recommend this, I bought some other beds for, I have triplets, and I'll tell you what works great for two that third one oh my God LOL this bed is working terrific I highly recommend it 5 out of five thumbs up. Highly recommend you buy from this company

Sturdy for teen with autism
I bought this bed frame for my autistic son and it was very easy to assemble. He is primarily nonverbal and he was able to hand me pieces when I told him the number, which was really a sweet thing for us. All the pieces fit as intended, there was no wonky malformed piece or terrible screw holes or anything. The bed is sturdy because my son is a big guy. I used heavy zip ties to hold the little square metal slat bars in place in the center because I didn’t want him to be able to get a bar out and wield it. My only thing is for some reason I got a ready tall frame. It’s very high off the ground and I regret that decision because I had to order a special bed step stool for it for safety… I guess in my mom brain I was thinking it would be easier to clean under the bed if he squirrels away junk like he tends to do. Anyway, I’m happy with how sturdy the bed is because he’s a big dude. The mattress does slide a bit side to side, but I prefer that over having an angle iron piece that holds the mattress in but could hurt him because it juts upward or something. I like that there’s no box springs with a thick mattress, box springs are cheap and annoying. (Please disregard our boarded up windows. They are glass with plexi and then slats over them for safety— IYKYK 🙂).

NOT 14" of storage space!
We decided to upgrade to a California King bed from a Queen as a present to ourselves this Christmas. Since we were changing bed size, we needed new everything. I wanted to get a decent bed frame, but didn't want to spend a fortune. We previously had a Zinus frame with 14" storage underneath, which was very convenient for storage, and I knew I wanted to be able to keep storing the same tubs underneath. I also wanted something with a built-in headboard so I could lean back without pushing the bed away from the wall. According to the specs on the page, this should have checked all the boxes and so I ordered it. Unfortunately, after spending 1.5 hours or so assembling it I double checked the height because it looked suspiciously short and it is actually only 12" of storage space underneath! My storage boxes are all about 13" tall, so they won't fit. The advertisement for this bed is very, very clear about it having 14" of storage space, so I was quite disappointed to find out it was a lie. If it wasn't so hard to take apart (I'm not actually sure it will even come apart) I would likely choose to return it and get one that actually has 14" of space. In addition to the storage space underneath being shorter than advertised, be aware that the slats are over 7" apart. I've never seen a memory foam bed that didn't require at 5" or less between slats. My new bed - a Zoma - requires 3" maximum between slats. Having more distance between slats voids the warranty. I was pretty sure from the pics that it would be insufficient, but I was surprised at just how far apart the slats are and want to make sure that anyone else considering this realizes they probably either need to put plywood under the mattress like I did or use a box spring in order to give sufficient support. Assuming you don't care about the storage or the slat spacing, this does seem to be a pretty sturdy bed. I've only slept on it for one night, but it is quiet and feels solid. It was a pain in the butt to put together, but mostly because I did it by myself - two people would have been easier. Also, a few screws were extremely tight fits and required exceptional force to tighten - and I'm not sure I could ever get them back out again. The wood looks decent from a distance but is definitely cheap fake wood. You could upgrade it with real wood fairly easily though I think. For the price though, this all is about what I'd expect. If it weren't for the false advertising concerning the height under the bed, I would have given this a higher rating. For the price I think it is a pretty good bed, but just be aware that if the storage space sells you on it like it did me, you'll be quite disappointed. I'm going to have to buy 8 bed risers just so I can put my tubs back underneath, and they're going to look ugly and prevent the bed from being pushed all the way against the wall like I'd prefer.
